FULL CUTOFF PERFORMANCE
As the nations respected authority on lighting standards and
design recommendations, the IESNA, Illuminating Engineering
Society of North America defines four (4) unique luminaire
cutoff classifications to quantify the amount of light a
fixture directs upward toward the sky.
When specified with flat glass and a solid mid section, each
of the EPIC Collection’s horizontally lamped segmented
optical systems meets the strictest “Full Cutoff” classification
requirements, ensuring that zero measurable light is directed
upward from this luminaire.

FULL CUTOFF
Full cutoff and cutoff classified luminaires carry the endorsement of the
International Dark Sky Association (IDA) for their usefulness in limiting
the detrimental effects of sky glow, otherwise referred to as light pollution.
When faced with local or state adopted lighting ordinances, full cutoff
luminaires offer direct compliance in most all circumstances.

A horizontal lamp orientation allows for a broad
selection of luminaire distribution shapes. Optical
systems are available in Type II, III, IV, SL Forward Throw,

FLAWLESS FACETS
Reflector facets are flat and unobstructed, allowing for a perfect
reflection of the lamp’s arctube. All segment faces are clean of
rivet heads, tabs, or other means of attachment which may cause
streaking in the light distribution.

callout the fixture’s protection ratings against airborne particulates
and moisture.

FROSTED LENS [FR | FRS]
Available frosted flat or sag glass lens reduces fixture brightness while visually softening
the light distribution. Particularly useful in low mounting height applications, and in public
environments where pedestrians may have direct line-of-sight exposure to lamp brightness.
MILKY WHITE ACRYLIC JAR [MA]
Available translucent white acrylic jar utilizes a vertical lamp orientation to achieve a round
Type V distribution with minimal fixture brightness. Underside of shade is finished in a high
reflectance white powder coat paint to maximize efficiency. Particularly useful in low mounting
height applications, and in areas with heavy pedestrian activity. Maximum 100W HID on
EMM/ECM, 250W HID EML/ECL.

GLASS REFRACTOR [3R | 5R]
Available tempered clear prismatic glass refractor utilizes a vertical lamp orientation to achieve
either a Type III or V distribution. Available on EMM/ECM fixtures only.
COLOR CAPABILITIES [LR | LRR | LRB | LRG | LRO]
Infuse a splash of color to any Epic Collection fixture by specifying the colored luminous rings
option. A colored gel film attached to the inside of the white acrylic mid section lens sends
vibrant hues of color to the edges of each clear acrylic ring. Standard colors include Deep
Green, Bright Blue, Red, and Warm Orange. Other colors available, consult your INVUE Lighting
Systems Representative for more information.

TOP
Cast aluminum modern or classical top housing maintains a minimum 1/8" sidewall thickness.
Top attaches to cast aluminum mounting arm hub with four (4) stainless steel fasteners. One (1) piece silicone
gasket between mounting hub and top casting seals out moisture and contaminants.
MID SECTION
Milky white acrylic lens utilizes continuous silicone gaskets to seal lens to top casting and shade.
The following mid section options feature cast aluminum construction and stainless steel assembly hardware:
SO Solid, WN Window, LV Louvered, ST Slot, SR Solid Rings. LR Luminous Rings feature clear acrylic rings
suspended by stainless steel spacers and hardware. Optional colored luminous rings utilize a colored gel film
attached behind luminous mid lens to project color along edges of rings.

Heavy gauge precision spun aluminum shades offer superior surface finish and consistency in form.
DOORFRAME ASSEMBLY
Used with horizontally lamped segmented optical systems. Die-cast aluminum 1/8" thick door and
doorframe seal to underside of shade with a thick wall continuous silicone gasket. Door hinges
opens via release of two (2) concealed quick release fasteners. Impact resistant 1/8" thick tempered
flat or sag glass lens (clear or frosted finish) seals to door with a one-piece silicone gasket.
OPTICAL SYSTEMS
Choice of five (5) high efficiency segmented optical systems constructed of premium 95% reflective
anodized aluminum sheet. Optical segments are rigidly mounted inside a thick gauge aluminum housing
for superior protection. All segment faces are clean of rivet heads, tabs, or other means of attachment
which may cause streaking in the light distribution. All reflector modules feature toolless removal, quick
disconnect wiring plugs, and are 360° field rotatable. Optional MA milky white acrylic jar utilizes a vertical
lamp orientation (maximum 100W HID on EMM/EMC, and 250W HID on EML/ECL). 3R and 5R
options utilize a prismatic clear tempered glass refractor along with a vertical lamp orientation. Offered
on EMM/ECM only. Vertically lamped optical systems are secured with a die cast retaining collar, stainless
steel hardware, and a one-piece silicone gasket, and feature standard high reflectance white powder paint
finish on underside of shade for optimal fixture efficiency.

Decorative pole bases are manufactured of 356.2 cooper free cast aluminum. Bases maintain a minimal wall thickness of .250 inches. Extruded
smooth or fluted shafts are manufactured of 6063 aluminum and are circumferentially welded to the base. Anchor bolt locations are cast within
the base. Anchor bolts are hot dip galvanized steel. Poles are finished in a premium TGIC polyester Powder coat for superior weatherability
characteristics.
