a small envelope, making the LZBS 1020 ideal for static and dynamic measurements on fasteners, tie rods or similar structural test applications where space limitations exists. The washers are to be mounted on either side of the transducer to minimize transmitted rotation effect and spot loading. The top washer should be mounted with the chamfered side toward the bolt head, to provide clearance for any fillet at head and shaft interface. The applied force must be uniformly distributed across the loading surfaces of the transducer.
