Cooper-Atkins Corporation warrants to the original purchaser, the electronic instrument to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
This Limited Warranty Excludes all Batteries.
This limited warranty excludes all incidental and consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you.
This limited warranty shall be invalid if the product is subject to misuse or abuse, or if any repairs are attempted by anyone other than Cooper -Atkins Corporation. No other warranties are either expressed or implied.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

It is recommended that this instrument be tested weekly by the customer during long periods of operation and recalibrated annually by the manufacturer, Cooper-Atkins Corporation, for a nominal charge.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
THIS UNIT IS CALIBRATED TO STANDARDS TRACEABLE TO THE
NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY
TEMPERATURE RANGE
-40 to 300 °F (-40 to 150 °C)
OPERATION
1) Insert probe into probe jack.
2) Turn power on by depressing the "ON" button.
3) Meter will begin monitoring temperature.
4) Depress the "OFF" button to turn the meter off. NOTE: The meter will turn off automatically after (15) minutes.
FEATURES
1) Depressing the "F/C" button will change reading from F to C or from C to F.
2) Depressing the "LIGHT/OC" button will illuminate the display for thirty (30) seconds. Illumination may be terminated by depressing "LIGHT/OC" button a second time.
3) The automatic shut off feature can be disabled by depressing "LIGHT/OC" button three (3) times within five (5) seconds. The "C" or "F" in the upper right hand corner of display will flash. The meter can be returned to the auto shut off mode by depressing the "LIGHT/OC" button another three (3) times within five (5) seconds.
4) The TC100A meter may be operated without a battery while using an optional #9310 AC adapter.
5) A desk/bench stand is built into the rear of the case.
DISPLAY ANOMALIES
LO The temperature being monitored is lower than -40 degrees, or the probe
is open or not plugged in.
HI The temperature being monitored is above 300 degrees F, or the probe
is shorted.
LO.P Low Power: For TM99A, replace the battery with a 9 volt alkaline battery.
For TC100A, charge fully for sixteen (16) hours.
CAUTION
This unit is not waterproof. Do not immerse for cleaning. If unit becomes wet inside
because of cleaning, rain, or condensation, unstable readings may occur.

FONCTIONNEMENT
1) Insérer la sonde dans la prise de sonde.
2) Allumer en appuyant sur la touche “ON”.
3) Le compteur commence à vérifier la température.
4) Appuyer sur la touche “OFF” pour éteindre le compteur. N.B. Le compteur s’éteindra automatiquement après quinze (15) minutes.
FONCTIONS
1) Appuyer sur la touche “F/O” pour changer la lecture de degrés F à C ou le contraire.
2) Appuyer sur la touche “LIGHT/OC” pour éclairer l’affichage pendant trente (30)
secondes. L’éclairage peut être éteint en appuyant sur la touche “LIGHT/OC” une deuxième fois.
3) La fonction d’arrêt automatique peut être déconnectée en appuyant sur la touche
“LIGHT/OC” trois (3) fois en cinq (5) secondes. Le “C” ou le “F” dans le coin supérieur droit de l’affichage clignotera. Le compteur peut être remis en mode arrêt automatique en appuyant sur la touche “LIGHT/OC” trois (3) fois de plus en cinq (5) secondes.
4) Le compteur du TC100A peut fonctionner sans piles si on utilise l’adaptateur de courant
alternatif No. 9310 en option.
5) Un support de bureau ou d’établi est construit à l’arrière du boîtier.
ANOMALIES DE L’AFFICHAGE
LO La température qui est vérifiée est inférieure à –40 degrés ou la sonde
est ouverte ou n’est pas branchée.
HI La température qui est vérifiée est supérieure à 300 degrés F ou la sonde est
court–circuitée.
LO.P Faible puissance: Pour le TM99A, remplacer la pile par une pile alcaline de 9 V.
Pour le TC100A, mettre en charge à plein pendant seize (16) heures.
ATTENTION
Cet appareil n’est pas étanche. Ne pas l’immerger pour le nettoyer. Si l’intérieur de
l’appareil devient humide à cause de la pluie, du nettoyage ou de la condensation, il peut
en résulter des affichages irréguliers.
Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour application médicale sur l’homme.
