1.2Basic requirements for safe working practices
Before using the Battery Charger for the first time, ensure that you have carefully read and understood the
operating instructions. Failure to observe the instructions below may result in electric shock, fire and seri
ous injuries.

➔ Do not open the Battery Charger.
➔ Do not open the Battery Charger or modify it structurally.
➔ Operate the Battery Charger in dry, enclosed rooms only.
➔ Protect Battery Charger from moisture and rain.
➔ Never operate the Battery Charger under unsuitable ambient conditions (e.g. where combustible
gases, solvents, dust, vapors or moisture is present).
➔ Do not operate the Battery Charger if the housing or power plug are damaged.
➔ Do not charge batteries without supervising them.
➔ Do not use damaged batteries.
Work area
➔ Ensure that there is enough space in the work area.
➔ Keep the work area clean and dry.

3Initial operation
WARNING!
Risk of explosion if other batteries are used
➔ Use only CLECO lithium ion batteries, order no. 935377.
Never use other battery types.
NOTE
The red "Charge" LED must not be illuminated before the battery is plugged in.
If necessary, when changing batteries, wait a few seconds until the indicator goes off.
➔ Connect the Battery Charger to the power
supply:
The green "Power" LED signals that the
power supply is present.
➔ Plug the battery into the Battery Charger,
until the catch securely engage.
➔ Once the battery is plugged in, the red "Charge" LED is illuminated and indicates that
charging is in process.
When charging is finished, the Battery Charger automatically shuts off the charging process.
The red "Charge" LED goes out.

4Troubleshooting

5Maintenance
CAUTION!
Clean the Battery Charger only with the power plug unplugged, and only using a dry cloth.
