• Installing the Batteries
2 X AA Alkaline batteries are supplied with the product. For more guideline on battery usage, please see Using your batteries.

, follow the arrow direction.

Insert 2 x AA batteries (included) follow the polarity, showed in the battery compartment.

• Turning the Camera On and Off
Pull left to open the LCD screen panel. Fully press the Power On/Off button until the LCD screen is on. Press the Power On/Off button again to turn off the camera.

• Checking the Battery Level
Check the battery power level before taking pictures.
1. Open the LCD panel.
2. Turn on the camera.
3. Check the battery status level that appears on the LCD screen.
Batteries have adequate power.
Running out of battery. Batteries need to be replaced.
2 Camera Setting
• Checking Camera Status
Open the LCD panel. Turn on the camera, view the camera LCD screen to check which camera settings are active. If the feature icon is not displayed, it means that particular feature is not activated.

• Camera Modes
The camera has two working modes: Palyback mode, Capture mode. You can switch between these two modes by pushing the Capture/Playback selector upwards or downwards. There are three modes udner the Capture mode: Still image mode, Audio mode and Video mode. When you have selected the Capture mode, press the OK button to toggle through Still image mode, Audio mode and Video mode. The default setting
is Video mode.

• Turning the Information Display and the LCD Screen On/Off
In all the modes, press the Display on/off button once to turn off the information display on the LCD screen, press it again will turn off the LCD screen. Press the Display on/off button once more will turn on the information display and the LCD screen.

• Setting Auto Power off
This camera is designed to automatically power off to save battery life in 30/60/90 seconds of inactivity. Press the Power button if you want to turn on the camera again. You can change the power saving setting by the following steps: Open the LCD panel, then turn on the camera and set it to Still image mode.

• Setting Display Language
Under this setting, you can select the language you prefer for the LCD screen. Open the LCD panel, then turn on the camera and set it to Still image mode.

• Flash Strobe Operation Instruction
NOTE:
• The Flash strobe will only be enabled in still image capture mode.
• The Flash strobe is designed to be turned on and off manually.
Installing the Batteries
1. To open the battery door, push it towards the arrow direction.
2. Insert 2 X AAA batteries (included) as shown, ensuring you follow the +/- polarity correctly.
3. Close the battery door by pushing it back to position.

Plug the Flash Strobe onto the Camera
1. Plug the Flash strobe onto your camera as shown.
2. Screw the wheel clockwise to lock the Flash strobe to the camera.
3. Turn on the Flash strobe by sliding the Power button upwards. The Flash strobe will start charging.
4. The Flash strobe will be ready when the LED turns to green.
5. The A icon of the camera will show on the LCD screen.
NOTE:
The A icon will only appear when the Flash is fully charged and the LED
turnS to green.
3 Taking Pictures
• Taking a Picture
Shutter button
1.
Open the LCD panel, and turn on the camera.
2.
Set the Capture/Playback selector to Capture mode.
3. Frame your subject using the LCD screen.
4.
Press the Shutter button completely down to take a picture, holding the camera steady. A beeps will sound when the picture has been taken.
• Setting Exposure Compensation
You can adjust the exposure compensation value (EV) within the range of -1.5EV to +1.5EV in order to compensate for current lighting conditions. This setting can be used to obtain better result when shooting with backlighting, indirect indoor lighting, a dark background, etc.

NOTE:
A higher EV value is best for light-coloured subjects and backlight subjects. A lower EV value is best for dark-coloured subjects and for shooting
outdoors on a clear day.
• When shooting under very dark or very bright conditions, you may not be able to obtain satisfactory results even after performing exposure compensation.
Exposure compensation returns to its standard default setting (AUTO) after you turn off the camera.
