SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the fan, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for further reference. Use the unit for its intended purpose only as specified in this manual. Mishandling of the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to property.
• Before switching the unit on for the first time make sure that your home mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
• Before using the fan examine the power cord closely and make sure that it is not damaged. If you find that the power cord is damaged, do not use the unit.
• If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.
• Do not use the fan outdoors.
• Place the unit on a flat, dry and steady surface away from sources of heat or open flame.
• Do not use the unit near containers filled with water, next to a kitchen sink, in wet basements or near a swimming pool.
• Do not immerse the fan, power cord and power plug into water or any other liquids.
• Do not touch the unit body and the power plug with wet hands.
• If the fan falls into water, unplug it before touching it and only then you may take the fan out of water. Apply to the nearest authorized service center for testing or repairing the unit at the contact addresses given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.coolfort.ru.
• Make sure that the power cord does not contact with hot surfaces and sharp furniture edges.
• Do not switch the unassembled fan on.
• Do not insert any foreign objects into the openings of the fan protective grids to avoid injuries or unit damage.
• Do not touch the rotating blades during the fan operation.
• Do not place the fan near curtains or house plants.
• It is not recommended to stay under the air flow coming from the fan for a long time (especially for children and elderly people).

• Never leave the operating unit unattended.
• Unplug the fan before cleaning and when you do not use the unit or before moving it to a new place.
• When unplugging the fan pull the plug but not the cord.
• Clean the unit regularly.
• Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the unit as a toy.
• For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.
Attention! Do not let children play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
• Do not allow children to touch the unit and the power cord during the unit operation.
• The unit is not intended to be used by people with physical, sensory or mental disabilities (including children) or by per­sons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
• Do not use the fan if the blades, the power cord or the power plug are damaged, if the fan works improperly, after it was dropped or was damaged in some other way.
• If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.
• Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center at the contact addresses given in the warranty certifi­cate and on the website www.coolfort.ru.
• Transport the unit in the original package.
• Keep the unit in a dry cool place unreachable for children and people with disabilities.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES ARE PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After the unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least three hours at room temperature before switching on.
Fan Assembly
• Unpack the fan and remove any advertising stickers that can prevent its operation.
• Check the unit for damages, do not use it in case of any.
• Set the crossed support (13) on a flat dry surface.
• Insert the lower part of the bar (12) into the floor support (13) and fix it with the clamp (14) by threading it clockwise. Make sure that the support (13) is fixed firmly.
• Unscrew the clamp (11) and extend the bar (10) to the desired height and fix it by tightening the clamp (11) with a slight effort as you turn it clockwise.
• Install the motor unit (7) on the telescopic bar (10) until bumping and fix it by the clamp (9), do not apply excessive effort when screwing the clamp of the motor unit (9).
• Unscrew and remove the rear grid (6) fastening nut (5).
• Install the rear grid (6) on the motor unit (7). The carrying handle on the rear grid (6) should be turned upwards.
• Fix the rear grid (6) on the motor unit (7) with the nut (5) by screwing it clockwise until bumping.
• Install the blades (4) on the motor axis and fix them with the clamp (3), rotating it counterclockwise, holding the blades (4) with a free hand.
• Open the clamps on the rear grid (6).
• Install the front grid (1) on the rear grid (6) and close the clamps.
• The fan is ready for operation.
USAGE
• Before using the unit for the first time, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the unit operating voltage.
• Plug the unit in, the speed indicators (21) and the natural airflow mode indicator «NORMAL» (23) will light up.

• Press the «ON/SPEED» button (15) to select the blades rota­tion speed: – «LOW» – low air flow speed; – «MID» – medium air flow speed; – «HIGH» – high air flow speed.
• Press the button (16) «SWING» to switch the 90° oscillation operating mode of the fan on.
• To stop the oscillation, press the button (16) «SWING» again.
• To select the airflow mode, consequently press the button (19) «MODE» on the remote control or the control panel (8). You may choose three operation modes, the operation modes are shown (23, 24, 25):
– «NORMAL» – simple ventilation, the indicator (23) is glow-
ing; the blades rotation speed depends on the selected mode and is shown with the indicators (21) «HIGH-MID­LOW».
– «NATURAL» – natural wind, the indicator (24) is glow-
ing; natural wind imitation mode, the air flow speed is chaotically changing: from soft breeze to strong gusts of wind.
– «SLEEP» –night mode, the indicator (25) is glowing; the
air flow speed is changing in cycles, constantly increasing and decreasing.
• You can set the operation time of the fan sleep timer with the button (17) «TIMER», one of four indicators (22) will be glowing.
• You can set the fan operation time from 0.5 «0,5Н» hour to
7.5 «0,5Н-1Н-2Н-4Н» hours (with 0.5 hour setting step).
• One of four indicators (22) will show the selected operation time of the timer.
• To switch the timer off press the button (17) «TIMER» repeat­edly until all the indicators (22) go out.
• To switch the fan off press the button (18) «OFF».
• You may change the position of the motor unit (7) of the fan in accordance with the required air flow angle in the vertical position, the fan slope angle is set manually. To change the fan slope angle press with a slight effort on the motor unit (7) upwards or downwards. Clicking while the fan is being tilted is normal.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL (20)
ATTENTION! Batteries leakage can cause injuries or damage the unit. To avoid the unit damage, follow the instructions given below:
– use only the «AAA» batteries; – do not use old and new batteries at the same time or differ-
ent types of batteries;
– do not recharge the batteries; – insert the batteries strictly following the polarity; – remove the batteries if you are not planning to use the unit
for a long time;
– replace the batteries in time. – apply to specialized centers for further recycling of the bat-
teries;
– avoid the power nippers circuit.
To use the remote control (RC) (20) open the battery compart­ment lid and insert 2 «AAA» batteries (not supplied with the unit) into the battery compartment strictly following the polarity, close the battery compartment lid. If you do not use the unit for a long time, remove the batteries from the battery compartment of the remote control (20).
Note: – the buttons on the remote control (20) fully correspond with the buttons on the control panel (8).
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
• Before cleaning the fan switch it off by pressing the button (18) «OFF» or the button (18) «OFF» on the remote control (20) and unplug it.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners and solvents to clean the unit.
• Clean the motor unit (7) with a slightly damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
• If you need to clean the blades (4), open the clamps of the rear grid (6), remove the front grid (1) and then wipe the blades (4) with a slightly damp cloth.
• Install the front grid (1) back to its place and close the clamps.
• You may clean the fan blades with a vacuum cleaner using a proper attachment.
• Do not immerse the motor unit (7) of the fan into water or any other liquids. Make sure that no liquids get into the motor unit (7) of the fan to avoid its damage and prevent risk of electric shock.
STORAGE
– Unplug the fan and clean it. – If necessary, dismantle the fan. – Open the clamps on the rear grid (6), remove the front grid
(1), unscrew the blade clamp (3) by turning it clockwise, remove the blades (4), unscrew the fixing nut of the rear grid (6) and remove the grid (6).
– Unscrew the clamp (9) and remove the motor unit (7) from
the telescopic bar (10).
– Unscrew the clamp (14) and remove the bar (12) from the
crossed floor support (13).
– Pack the fan into the original package and put it away for
storage in a dry cool place away from children and disabled persons.

RECYCLING
For environment protection do not throw out the unit and the bat­teries (if included), do not discard the unit and the batteries with usual household waste after the service life expiration; apply to specialized centers for further recycling. The waste generated during the disposal of the unit is subject to mandatory collection and consequent disposal in the prescribed manner. For further information about recycling of this product apply to a local municipal administration, a disposal service or to the shop where you purchased this product.
The manufacturer preserves the right to change design, struc­ture and specifications not affecting general principles of the unit operation without a preliminary notification due to which insignificant differences between the manual and product may be observed. If the user reveals such dif ferences, please report them via e-mail info@coolfort.ru for receipt of an updated manual.
Unit operating life is not less than 3 years
Guarantee
Details regarding guarantee conditions can be obtained from the dealer from whom the appliance was purchased. The bill of sale or receipt must be produced when making any claim under the terms of this guarantee.
