Specific? ins tallation sheet. In any case, the ins tallation must allow the handlebars to reach both steering stops, with
out pulling taught or kinking any lines, and without dam aging any part of the motorcycle
Important Installation Considerations
Some windsheild and Fairing Trimming required for more than 2" of rise
Special Kit Re quirements/Installation Tips
1. Contact - Slight fairing contact is ok as long as the steering stops can be
reached with out damaging the fairing
2. Trimming - Depending on handlebar position, the upper fairing and or
windshield may need to be trimmed for clearance. Marking the line with tape
and using a dremel tool for trimming is recommended.
3. Trimming - Depending on rise and preference, trimming the handlebar length
will allow more rise
4. Moving - Moving the clutch lever, and brake lever toward the center of the
motorcycle will allow greater upper fairing/windshield clearance
5. Reservoir Mount(s) can be carefully bent to allow more rise.
Restrictions
1. Upper fairing and or windshield can be trimmed for more rise.
Recommended Riser Trim Length
1. 5.0" Riser Length = Trim Number 8
Recommended parts and re place ment lines
1. Hydraulic Brake Line Top Fitting - 90 degree face to the side
2. Hydraulic Brake Line = Stock + 3"
