More rise is possible with creative throttle line routing and longer lines. Some
models have tapered forks which will require clamps to be mounted on top of triple clamp, making the stock position impossible. Trimming the fairing may be required depending on position selected.
Special Kit Re quirements/Installation Tips
1. Contact - Slight fairing contact is ok as long as the steering stops can be reached with out damaging the fairing
Handlebar Positioning
1. When the bars are in the down position, with the wheel straight, the clamps should be rotated so the handlebar risers are at approximately the 10 and 2 O'Clock positions(as the rider is looking down at the top of the fork tubes) This will allow clearance with fairing side pieces as you turn stop to stop.
Restrictions
1. Upper fairing and or windshield can be trimmed for more rise.
Line Routing
1. Brake Line - Ensure line(s) and top fitting position does not interfere with instrument panel, riser, Cyclops Clamp, and or brake lever.
2. Throttle Lines - Take special care when routing to avoid interference with riser pipe
Recommended Riser Trim Length
1. 5.0" Riser Length = Trim Number 8
