Pressure Regulator 91500 Series
The Trerice Series 91500 Self-Operating
Pressure Regulator is extensively used in
canning, meat packing and other food
processing industries to regulate pressure
cookers, retorts and other devices. The 91500
requires that a user-supplied pressure sensing
line be connected from the downstream
controlled point to the regulator’s actuator.
Pressure in this line acts upon the bellows to
develop the necessary thrust to stroke the
valve. As the downstream pressure increases,
the valve closes, thereby reducing the
downstream pressure.
For optimal performance,the service conditions
(medium,flow,temperature,inlet and outlet pressures)
of the application must be considered when selecting a
valve.Please refer to the Valve Selection Section of this
catalog.Improper application may cause failure of the
valve,resulting in possible personal injury or property
damage.
