The Trerice 87700 Series Pneumatic Controller
is designed to provide On/Off (87700) or
Proportional (87700T) control for a wide variety
of pneumatic control applications. The 87700
“On/Off” Controller will meet the needs of batch
type processes where the absence of
modulation is advantageous. This fixed high
sensitivity controller is designed for use with a
quick opening control valve. The 87700T
“Proportional Band” Controller will work well with
a modulating control valve to provide excellent
control of continuous flow processes where
average flow and demand fluctuations occur.
The 87700T can be set to modulate between
2 and 100 percent of the range span.
For applications where the process media may be
corrosive or contained under pressure, the use of a
thermowell is required to prevent damage to the
controller and facilitate its removal from the process.
The Trerice No.TA987 Air Filter/Regulator is
recommended for filtering and regulating the pressure
of plant compressed air and delivering clean,dry air at
the proper pressure to pneumatic control devices.
