OPERATION
1. Remove the battery and re-insert it to set the clock on the unit. After the
segment test has been run, the minutes counter wi ll flash. Set the
minutes by pressing the MIN/MAX butt on. Press and hol d the MIN/MAX
button to increase the minute counter rapidly until the button is
released. Press the IN/ DATE butt on to conf i rm the correct minut e
setting.
2. The hour counter will begin flashing. Set the hour by pressing the
MIN/MAX button. Press and hold the MIN/MAX button to i ncreas e the
hour counter rapidly unti l t he butt on is releas ed. Press the IN/DATE
button to confirm the correct hour sett ing.
3. The mont h indicator will begin flashing. Set the month by pressing the
MIN/MAX button. Press and hold the MIN/MAX button to i ncreas e the
counter rapidly unti l t he butt on is releas ed. Press t he IN/DATE button to
confirm the correct mont h sett i ng. If no butt on is pressed f or 15
seconds, the unit will be set and will begin recordi ng temperature.
4. To select °F or °C, slide the switch located on the back of the unit to the
desired setting.
5. To s witch the display between date and indoor temperature, press the
IN/DATE button. While in date mode, “DATE” wi ll appear on the
display. Whil e in ambient temperat ure m ode, “I N” wi ll appear on t he
display.
6. To recall the stored memories, press the MIN/MAX button repeatedly
and the display will indicate the following:
Maximum outdoor temperature
Minimum outdoor temperature
Maximum indoor temperature
Minimum indoor temperature
The display will also show the correspondi ng date and t ime that the
MIN/MAX readings occurred. P ress t he MIN/MAX butt on again to return
to the current temperature mode.
7. To delete a minimum/maximum memory, press and the MIN/MAX
button until the desired memory is displ ayed. Press the IN/DATE button
and the displayed memory will be cleared. Repeat this process to clear
each desired memory.
BENCH STAND
The unit is supplied with a bench stand that is a part of the batt ery c over. To
use the bench stand, locate the small opening at the bott om of the unit.
Place your fingernail into the opening and flip the stand up. To close the
stand, simply snap it shut.
WALL MOUNTI NG THE UNI T
Set two screws into the wall at the desired locat i on. Do not set the screw
flush to the wall; the heads of the screws will need to sli p into the rec eptac les
on the back of the unit. Once the screws have been properly set, hang the
unit in place by sliding the receptacles on the back of the unit over the heads
of the screws.

THERMOMETER WITH TIME/DATE MAX/MIN MEMORY
ALL OPERATI ONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this unit does not function properly for any reason, replace the battery with
a new high quality battery (see “Battery Replacement” section). Low battery
power can occasionally cause any number of “apparent ” operational
difficult ies. Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve most
difficulties.
BATTERY REP L ACEM ENT
Erratic readings, faint readings, or no di splay are all i ndications that the
battery must be replaced. R em ove the battery cover. Remove the
exhausted bat tery and replace with a new AAA alkaline batt ery. Replace t he
battery c over making certai n to run the probe c able through the slot on the
right or left bottom side of t he battery c over. Upon initial i nstallation of the
battery, the time and date will require set ting. (See th e “Operation” section.)
