SPECIFICATIONS

OPERATION Clearing The Display:
To clear the display to 0:00 press the H and M buttons simultaneously. The unit will beep 2 (two) times when the display is cleared.
Countdown Timer/Alarm Operation
1. Clear the display to 0:00.
2. Press H button to set number of hours desired. Setting will advance 1 hour each time button is pressed. Press and hold to advance rapidly.
3. Press M to set number of minutes desired. Setting will advance 1 minute each time button is pressed. Press and hold to advance rapidly.
4. Once desired time is displayed, press the S/S button to start the countdown operation.
5. At zero the alarm will sound for 1 minute and stop automatically.
6. Pressing the H and M buttons simultaneously silences the alarm and clears the display to zero.

7. Press the S/S button to manually silence the alarm and to also begin countdown timing again from the time set.
Note: The blinking “:” symbol in the display indicates timer is running.
Count-up/Stopwatch Operation
1. Clear the display to 0:00.
2. Press the S/S button to start count-up/stopwatch operation.
3. Press S/S button to stop count-up/stopwatch operation.
Note: When timing capacity reaches 19 min. and 59 sec. the timer automatically rolls over to zero and continues timing.
Time Out
If a pause in countdown or count-up operation is required press the SS button to “freeze” display at current reading (time-out). To re-start operation, press S/S button again. An unlimited number of time-outs may be taken.
OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this unit does not function properly for any reason, replace the battery with a new high-quality battery (see “Battery Replacement” section). Low battery power can occasionally cause any number of “apparent” operational difficulties. Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve most difficulties.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Erratic readings, a faint display, no display, or a flashing display are all indicators that the battery must be replaced. Slide battery cover off the backside of unit in direction indicated by arrow. Replace exhausted battery with a new 1.5-volt Battery with the positive side up. Replace battery cover. Replacement battery Cat. No. 1104.
