INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATION
Setting the Time
1. To set the time, rotate the dial to line up the correct time of day with the arrow. The arrow is printed on the inner ring of the mechanical timer.
2. Press down the segments which are within the time period that you want the timer ON. Each segment represents 15 minutes. You may have
more than one period of ON time periods.
3. A switch located at the side of the unit controls the function of the unit. It has two settings: “Timer On” and “Outlet On.”
4. Move the switch to the “Outlet On” position to have all 8 outlets controlled by constant power. In this mode, NO outlets will be controlled by the
timer.
5. Move the switch to the “Timer On” setting to have 4 of the outlets controlled by the timer. The 4 remaining outlets will be controlled by constant
power. The 4 outlets which may be controlled by the timer are labeled “Timed Outlets.” The 4 outlets which will always have constant power,
regardless of the setting (“Timer On” or “Outlet On”). are labeled: “Switched Outlets.”
Turning on the Unit
1. Plug the desired equipment into the timer power strip. Make certain that the equipment itself is turned on.
2. Plug the cord from the electromechanical Controller into the outlet.
3. Turn the red circuit breaker ON/OFF switch located on the top of the Electromechanical Controller to the ON position.
