CA UTION: Be sure cord is no t co nnected to power outlet when remo ving or

Alway s us e both blades wh en o perating th e knife. If blade s ar e separated, pick

up blade s by the protect ive s leeve. Slide th e rivet on one blade in to the keyhole
slot of the other blade until they are l ocked toget her.
Keep the protective sleeve on t he b lades, carefully inse rt t he f ree e nds i nto t he

Inser t th e plug into a 120 volt (AC o nly) power outle t and ensure the cor d is
well away fr om the blade s.

Asegúrese de guardar este manual para cualquier consulta en el futuro.
PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES
Al momento de utilizar cualquier electrodoméstico, debe seguirse las siguientes precauciones de seguridad básicas:
1. Lea, comprenda y siga todas las instrucciones antes de utilizar.
2. Con el n de evitar una descarga eléctrica, no sumerja el motor, el cordón
ni el enchufe en agua u otros líquidos. Esto puede causar lesiones personales y/o daños al producto.
3. No utilice el cuchillo en el agua o debajo de un grifo de agua.
4. Debe supervisarse a los niños constantemente si se utiliza el electrodo-
méstico en su presencia.
5. Desenchufe el electrodoméstico sino lo va a utilizar, antes de colocar o
retirar piezas y antes de proceder a limpiar. Deje enfriar antes de manipular.
6. No deje el cuchillo funcionando sólo.
7. Evite el contacto con las piezas en movimiento.
8. No utilice el cuchillo si el cordón o el enchufe se encuentran dañados,
después de que presente algún desperfecto o después de que haya sufrido
algún daño o caída. Lleve el electrodoméstico al centro de servicio técnico
autorizado más cercano para que se lo examine, repare o se le haga los
ajustes eléctricos o mecánicos necesarios.
9. El uso de accesorios o aditamentos no recomendados por el fabricante
podría ocasionar un incendio, una descarga eléctrica o lesiones personales.
10. No permita que el cordón cuelgue del repostero de cocina ni del borde
de la mesa ni que entre en contacto con supercies calientes incluyendo una
cocina.
11. No coloque el cuchillo encima o cerca de un quemador de cocina a gas o
eléctrico ni dentro de un horno caliente.
12. No lo utilice en exteriores ni para nes comerciales.
13. Desenchufe al momento de cambiar las cuchillas.
14. Las cuchillas son aladas. Manipúlelas con cuidado. Manipule las cuchillas siempre con la mano del lado contrario del borde con lo. Guarde las
cuchillas con el borde alado hacia el lado contrario de usted.
15. No utilice el electrodoméstico con la mano mojada o húmeda.
16. No toque supercies que puedan estar calientes. Utilice los mangos o
perillas.
17. No utilice el electrodoméstico para otros nes.

LEA Y GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES
NOTA: Este electrodoméstico cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una ex-
tremidad es más ancha que la otra). Con el n de reducir el riesgo de que
se produzca una descarga eléctrica, este enchufe debe encajar dentro de
un tomacorriente polarizado solamente de una manera. Si el enchufe no
encajara totalmente en el tomacorriente, intente dándole la vuelta. Si aún así

no encajara, póngase en contacto con un electricista calicado. No intente
modicar el enchufe de ninguna manera.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
Lave las cuchillas en agua caliente jabonosa. Enjuáguelas y luego séquelas
totalmente. Manipule las cuchillas con cuidado ya que son muy aladas.
CÓMO ARMAR Y UTILIZAR
Precaución: Asegúrese de que el aparato no se encuentre enchufado al
momento de retirar o colocar las cuchillas y/o cuando el cuchillo no se esté
utilizando. Las cuchillas son muy aladas. Manipule las cuchillas por el lado
romo (el lado opuesto al borde para cortar) o utilice la manga protectora.
1. Siempre utilice ambas cuchillas al momento de usar el cuchillo. Si las
cuchillas se separaran, manipule las cuchillas utilizando la manga protectora.
Deslice y encaje el remache de una cuchilla dentro del agujero o ranura de la
otra cuchilla hasta que queden bien aseguradas.
2. Mantenga la manga protectora sobre las cuchillas. Con cuidado inserte el
extremo que se encuentra libre dentro del cuchillo. Presione hasta encajar.
Empuje las cuchillas sujetando con los dedos para facilitar su encaje.

3. Ahora retire la manga protectora de las cuchillas.
4. Conecte a un tomacorriente de 120V (solamente de corriente AC) ase-
gurándose de que el cordón quede lejos de las cuchillas.
5. Sujetando el cuchillo con una mano, presione el botón de encendido ON/
OFF para ponerlo a funcionar. La operación de cortado se detendrá cuando
se suelte el botón de encendido ON/OFF.

6. Para detener el movimiento de las cuchillas, suelte el botón ON/OFF. Una
vez de terminar de utilizar el cuchillo, proceda a desenchufar.
CÓMO DESARMAR Y LIMPIAR
Advertencia: ¡Las cuchillas son aladas! Manipúlelas con sumo cuidado.
Siempre utilice la manga protectora para manipular las cuchillas. No coloque
ni retire las cuchillas mientras el aparato se encuentre enchufado. No permita
que los niños utilicen este electrodoméstico.
1. Desenchufe el electrodoméstico.
2. Presione rmemente el botón para soltar las cuchillas. Sujete las cuchillas
del borde romo en la parte cercana al protector de plástico y con cuidado tire
de las cuchillas hasta liberarlas.
3. Con cuidado separe las cuchillas deslizándolas para desencajar el remache del agujero.

4. Lave las cuchillas con agua caliente jabonosa. Enjuáguelas y séquelas
completamente.
5. Después de lavar y secar, coloque las cuchillas inmediatamente dentro de
su manga protectora para guardarlas.
6. Para limpiar el motor y el cordón, utilice un paño húmedo y proceda a
secar totalmente. No utilice productos abrasivos para limpiar el electrodo-
méstico.
7. Nunca sumerja el cuchillo eléctrico en agua u otros líquidos.
CONSEJOS PRÁCTICOS PARA MEJORES RESULTADOS
1. Mueva el cuchillo a través de los alimentos. No utilice un movimiento hacia
atrás y hacia adelante en forma de serrucho.
2. Deje reposar la carne durante unos 15 minutos (después de haberla cocido) antes de proceder a rebanarla.
3. Rebane alrededor del hueso. Nunca intente rebanar o cortar un hueso.
4. No corte alimentos congelados.
5. No intente alar las cuchillas dentadas.
