3 Function Desc ription

3. Function Desc ription The Range of the Input Voltage
If the input voltage varies, it might excess the accuracy of the voltage r egulator . Contact us for details.
This unit is capable of coping with instant input voltage dip. (Derating is required.)
- Output range up to : 30W
- Input : AC50V or DC70V
- Duty : 1s/30s
* Never operate for more than a second or longe r. The unit can de d amaged.
-Usable between AC85 and AC264V. The approval of safety standards is “100AC - 240VAC (50/60Hz)” for the rated input
voltag e range.
If input value doesn’t fall within above range, a unit may not operate in accordan ce wi th specifi cations and/or start hunting or operate protection circuit or fail.
If you need to apply a square waveform input voltage, which iscommonly used in UPS and inverters, please contact us.

Inrush Currents

This unit contains rush current suppression circuit.
If you are to use a switch, make sure it withstands inrush currents.
As a power thermistor is used for inrush current suppression, be sure the unit is cool enough when restarting input soon after turning on the power.

Output Vol tage Adjustme n t Ra ng e

To increase an output voltage, turn a built-in potentiometer cloc kwise. To decrease the output voltage, turn it counterclockwise.

Dielectric Resistance - Insulation Reduction

When testing a vol t a ge resistance for su ch a s acceptance inspections, increase the volume graduall y. Wh en blocking the power, use a dial to d ecrease gradually as well. Refra in from conducting a withstand voltage te st with a timer sin ce it ma y dr i ve the e xc e ssi v e app l y voltage when the timer operates.

How to Mount

If install other then stand ard mounting orientation (A), please fix the power supply for withstand the impact and vibration.

When you mount a power supply on a DIN rail, have the area marked A catch one side of the rail and push the unit to the direction of B. To remove the power supply from the rail, either push down the ar ea marked C or insert a tool such as driver to the area marked D and pull the unit apart from the rail. When you couldn’t remove the unit easily, push down the area marked C while lightly pushing the unit to the direction of E.

Remarks

When power is on or right after being turned off, be aware the unit is v ery hot. Always exercise extreme caution for handling
In case of connecting a condenser with a large volume, outputting may stop or unstable movements incur. Please consult with us when planning to connect condensers.
As the unit reduces inside consumption power, if you stop inputting current in a no-load state, outputting maintains for a few minutes. Always pay attention during maintenance to avoid electric shocks.
