Limited Two-Years Warranty

CONTEC CONPROSYS products are warranted by CONTEC CO., LTD. to be free from defects in material and workmanship for up to two years fro m the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Repair will be free of charge only when this device is returned freight prepaid with a copy of the original invoice and a Return Merchandise Authorization to the distributor or the CONTEC group office, from which it was purchased. This warranty is not applicable for scratches or normal wear, but only for the electronic circuitry and original products. The warranty is not applicable if the device has been tampered with or damaged through abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or unreasonable use, or if the original invoice is not included, in which case repairs will be considered beyond the warranty policy.

How to Obtain Service

For replacement or repair, return the device freight prepaid, with a copy of the original invoice. Please obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) from the CONTEC group offi c e wh er e you purchased before returning any product.
* No product will be accepted by CONTEC group without the RMA number.

Liability

The obligation of the warrantor is solely to repair or replace the product. In no event will the warrantor be liable for any incidental or consequential damages due to such defect or consequences that arise from inexperienced usage, misuse, or malfunction of this device.

Safety Information

DANGER indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury or in property damage.

Handling Precautions

Indicates dos and don'ts that are assumed to result in possible death or serious injury if they are inappropriately handled ignoring this icon.
- Do not use the product in locations exposed to a flammable or corrosive gas. It may cause explosion, fire, electrical shock, or malfunction.
- If you sense abnormality (smoke, odor, or noise), immediately unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and contact the CONTEC sales representative or sales office.
- To avoid electrocution do not use the product with a wet hand.
- Be sure to connect the product to the stipulated power supply voltage. Connecting to a different voltage might cause a fire or electrical shock.
- Do not use the product with the other power device. It may cause fire or malfunction.
- When the cable or main body is damaged, stop using and repair it immediately. Using it as it is may cause fire, electrical shock or malfunction.
- Never disassemble or modify the product or replace its parts in order to prevent electrical shock, fire, or malfunction. CONTEC reserves the right to refuse servicing the product modified by the user. When any part of the product needs to be replaced at the expiration of its life or due to breakdown, please contact the CONTEC sales representative or sales office.
- Use the product with the specified models by the CONTEC. Not doing so may cause fire or malfunction.
- Use the product in the specified operating condition (temperature and humidity)
- This product is a device embedded products, it is not a final product.

- Do not use or store the product in a location exposed to extremely high or low temperature or susceptible to a rapid temperature change. Example:
- Exposure to direct sun - In the vicinity of a heat source
- When unplugging the cable, hold the plug. Holding and pulling the cable itself can cause a failure such as discontinuity.
- To clean the product wipe it gently with soft cloth damp with either water or mild detergent. Do not use chemicals or a volatile solvent, such as benzene and thinner, to prevent peeling or discoloration of the paint.
- When transporting the product, provide adequate measures to protect it from vibration or shock.
