PCI-bus 4Ch RS-232C Communication Board

Data transmission at high speed may not be performed normally depending on the environment

COM-4(PCI )H

T his board is external equipment and an int erface board of t he
PCI bus conformit y which performs serial communicat ion of
RS-232C c onformity.

It has the serial port of four channels by one
sheet.

Attached st andard COM driver soft ware [COM Set up Disk] by
using it , it can access as a Windows or st andard COM port for
Linux.
Moreover, t his board can be replaced within t he system already
built for t he higher rank compat ible product of our company
COM-4(PCI).

Features

- It corresponds t o a maximum of 921,600bps high-speed communication.

- T he b aud rat e o f each cha nnel can b e individually set up by software.

- FIFO buffer of 1 28 bytes o f reception is carried for every channel 128 by t es of transmi ssion.

- T he b oard of a maximum of 16 sheet s can be ext ended, an d setup t o COM 1-COM 2 56 is p ossible.

- It can be used as Windows and a standard COM p ort of Linux b y at t ached driver sof tware.

It is t he softwa re for usi ng t he serial communication board of
our company like t he COM port (st andard COM) o f t he
main part of a pe rsonal computer by Windows or Linux. It
can set up t o C OM 1-COM 256 by ext ension of a b oard.
It is possible t o perform various serial communications, such
as remot e access service (RA S) and a power supply (UPS)
non-cut t he elect ric current off.
In Windows, it corresponds t o t he standard Win 32API
communication functions (Cre at eFile () and Writ eF ile(),
ReadF ile () and Set CommSt at e(), et c .) for OS. It corresponds
t o communicat ion control (M SComm) o f Visual B asic.
In Li nux, it is based on t he st andard t ype driver for O S. It
corresponds t o t he st anda rd functio n of open () and close(),
read () and write(), etc.

- The number of the maximum COM ports changes with
OS environment to be used.
