WARNING
• Do not probe A/C power supply with conductive objects. Shorting of battery terminals may cause sparks, burns
• Do not use the A/C power supply if damaged as there is an increased risk of shock.
• Use an appropriate power source. Do not attempt to use a step-up transformer or an engine generator. Doing so may cause damage to the A/C power supply or the unit resulting in electrical shock, re or burns.
• Do not allow anything to cover the A/C power supply while in use. Allow a minimum of 4” (10 cm) of clearance around the charger for proper ventilation.
• To reduce the risk of injury unplug the A/C power supply when not in use.
• Do not use the A/C power supply in a damp, wet or explosive environment. Do not expose to rain, snow or dirt. Contaminants and moisture increase the risk of electrical shock.
• The A/C power supply is not servicable, never attempt to open it or modify it.
Battery Safety
• The battery within the tablet is NOT user replaceable. Call your Service Center if you believe the battery is in need of service.
• Properly dispose of this unit. Exposure to high temperatures can cause the battery to explode,
so do not dispose of in a re. Some countries have regulations concerning battery disposal.
Please follow all applicable regulations.
• Charge battery in temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and below 113°F (45°C). Store unit in tem peratures above -4°F (-20°C) and below 140°F (60°C). Storage for a long time at temperatures above 95°F (35°C) will reduce the capacity of the unit. It is recommended to store the unit at 77°F (25°C) to maximize battery life. Proper care will prevent serious damage to the battery. Improper care of the battery may result battery leakage, electrical shock and burns.
• If the unit is damaged, do not plug the A/C power supply into it. Do not attempt to charge.
• Never use a home-made or incompatible battery pack. This may result in damage to unit and/ or cause injury.
• Never disassemble the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Disassembling the unit may cause electrical shock or personal injury.
• Avoid contact with uids leaking from the unit. Fluids may cause burns or skin irritation.
Thoroughly rinse with water in case of contact with uid. Consult doctor if uid comes into contact with eyes.
Video Scope Safety
• Do not place tool into anything or anywhere that may contain a live electrical charge.
• FOR WALLS: For inspecting inside walls, be sure to shut off the circuit breaker to the whole house before using the tool behind any of the walls
• FOR PIPES: If you suspect a metal pipe could contain an electrical charge, have a qualied
electrician check the pipe before using the tool. Ground circuits, in some cases, can be returned to cast iron pipes and cause them to be charged.
• FOR AUTOMOBILES/HEAVY EQUIPMENT/MOTORSPORTS: Be sure the automobile, heavy equipment or motorsport equipment is not running during inspection. Metal and liquid under the hood may be hot. Do not get oil or gas on the imager head. Exposure to petroleum-based substances will eventually degrade the imager head covering.
• GENERAL USE: Do not use anywhere the unit may come into exposure with hazardous chemi cals, electrical charges or moving parts. Such situations may result in serious injury or death. Do not use this device for medical use in any way.
