Your straighteni ng iron is virt ually
maintenance-fr ee. No lubricat ion is
needed. Keep all vents and openi ngs
clear of dir t and dust. If cleaning
becomes necessar y, disconnect the
unit from t he power source, allow to
cool and wipe e xterior with a cloth. If
any abnormal condition occurs, u nplug
the unit, a llow it to cool, and r eturn
it for repair to an authorized service
representa tive only. No repair s should
be attempte d by the consumer.
CAUTION- NEVER allow the
power supply cor d to be pulled, tw isted,
or severely b ent. Never wrap the cord
tightly aroun d the appliance. Dama ge will

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This stra ightening iron is int ended for
household use. This unit is desig ned to
operate at 120-240VAC volts AC. Use
on Alterna ting Current (50/60 hertz)
only.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit i n a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug doe s not
fit fully in the outlet, r everse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualif ied
electricia n. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety featur e.
DUAL VOLTAGE
This stra ightening iron will a utomatically
adjust to th e proper voltage. Use an
adapter plug w ith correct conf iguration
prior to use in outlet.
STRAIGHTEN ING BASICS
Plug the str aightening iron cor d into any
household out let 120V-240VAC. Slide
switch to ON position. Red LED light will
indicate power is on. The iron wil l heat
up very qui ckly. To turn off, slide to OFF
position. Red light will go off. N ever leave
your straig htening iron on and
unattended .
WARNING: The s traightening
iron’s ceramic-coa ted plates will
get very hot w ithin a few seconds
and should not be placed in contact
with the ski n after the
straightening i ron has been
turned on.
Start wi th a hair section that is 1" wide
and no more t han 1/2" thick. Ope n the
iron and place a hair section be tween the
two hot plates , close to the scalp. Close
plates over hair by firmly sque ezing the
handles togethe r. While maintaining th e
tension, slowl y pull the unit down along
the hair sec tion toward the end of hair.
At the end of h air section, rel ease the
pressure on the handle and allow the
hair to slide o ut. Repeat proces s on
additional se ctions of hair until you
achieve the hair style you desir e. It may
be necessar y to repeat process on
certain a reas, depending on the texture
of your hair.
Some experi ence is necessary when
learning to u se this straight ening iron.
After using the iron several t imes, you
will learn t he ideal way to str aighten and
style your hair easily.
