OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This steam waver is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (6 0 hertz) only. This unit
is designed to be operated at 120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). As a safet y feature, this plug will fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. I f it still does
not fit, contact a qualified elec trician. Do not attempt
to defeat this safety feature.
When putting on the table, the unit sh ould be in correct
position. The two barrels sh ould be facing upward.
TO FILL WATER RESERVOIR
WARNING: Never remove reservoir when hot. Allow
to cool before filling. To fill: slide the water reservoir
from unit. Open rubber reservoir c ap and fill with
distilled water. Replace rubber cap and slide back
onto unit. ONLY USE DISTILLED WATER.

GETTING STARTED
Hair should be clean and completely dried before
using the styler. Plug the iron into an electrica l outlet.
Turn on unit. Allow unit to heat up for 30 seconds.
WARNING: The stylin g iron's barrel will get very
hot within a few second s and should not come
into contact with t he skin after the styling i ron
has been turned on.
NOTE: the unit may produ ce a clicking sound
at times, which is norm al for a high output ion
generator.
The styler´s 3 unique ultra-high heat temperat ure
settings and Instant H eat technology provide styling
versatility for all hair types . If you have fine hair,
a low temperature will provide the best result s. If
you have thick, wavy or hard-to-curl hair, keep
the heat setting on high. You can vary the ir on’s
temperature according to your part icular need!
Temperature Setting Guide
IONIC BENEFITS
Ionic properties neutralize po sitive charges in the
air, reducing the static electricity that dulls hair
and causes flyaway frizzies. Hair inst antly becomes
more manageable and shiny.
TO CREATE SEXY WAVES
Separate your hair into three par ts: upper,
middle and lower segments. Clip the upper
two segments of hair out of the way. Spray the
bottom segment of hair with st yling product if
desired.
1. Begin with lowest
segment of hair. Place
sections of hair between
the wave plates; press and
hold for 5–10 seconds.
2. Repeat styling process
moving down, so waves
are continuous.
3. Release middle segment
of hair and repeat.
4. Release upper segment of hair, starting t wo
inches from roots and repeat.
5. Let hair cool and break up waves with your
fingers to create a softer loo k.
6. Tease roots with a comb for added volume.

Si debe depositar el aparato, asegúr ese de que

apuntar hacia arriba.

FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
El cabello debe estar limpio y completamente sec o.
Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente. Encienda
el aparato. Permita que el aparato ca liente durante
30 segundos.
ADVERTENCIA: El tubo se volverá extremadamente
caliente en segundos. Evite todo contacto con
la piel después de encender el aparato.
Puede que el aparato em ita un chasquido de
vez en cuando. Esto es nor mal y es debido a
la alta cantidad de ione s generados por el
generador de iones.
Este aparato ofrece 3 opcion es de temperatura,
para todo tipo de cabello, y calienta muy
rápidamente. Si su cabello es fino, le recomendamos
que utilice un nivel de temperatura bajo. Si su
cabello es espeso, grueso, ondulado o resiste nte,
le recomendamos que utilice un nivel de temperatura
alto. ¡Persona lice la temperatura, según su tipo
de cabello!

VAPOR IÓNICO
Los iones negativos neutralizan la c arga positiva

CÓMO CREAR ONDAS SEXY
Divida el cabello en tres secciones horizon-
tales. Sujete las dos secciones de ar riba
encima de la cabeza. Aplique un spray de
peinado sobre la sección de abajo si desea.
1. Empiece con la sección
de abajo. Coloque
una sección de cabello
entre las placas y espere
durante 5–10 segundos.
2. Baje la plancha y repita
para crear ondas con-
tinuas.
3. Haga los mismo con la
sección del medio.
4. Afloje la sección de arriba y repita ,

USER MAINTENANCE
Your high-temperature steam waver is virtually
maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. Ke ep all
vents and openings clear of dirt and dust. I f cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the unit f rom the
power source, allow to cool and wipe exterior w ith
a cloth. If any abnormal condition occur s, unplug the
unit, allow it to cool, and return it for rep air to an
authorized service representative only. No repairs
should be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power sup ply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wra p the cord
tightly around the appliance. Damage will occur
at the high flex point of entry into the appliance,
causing it to rupture and short circui t. Inspect the
cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediatel y
if damage is visible or if unit stops or operates
intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to store.
Allow appliance to cool, then simply store out o f
reach of children in a safe, dry location. Do no t
jerk or strain cord at plug connectio ns. Do not
wrap the line cord around the appliance. Allow
the cord to hang or lie loose and straigh t at the
point of entry into the appliance.
LIMITED FIVE YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit
free of charge for 60 months from t he date of purchase
if the appliance is defective in workmanship or
materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return t he
defective product to the serv ice center listed on
back, together with your purchase re ceipt and $7.50
for postage and handling. California residents need
only provide proof of purchase and should call
1-800-3-CON AIR for shipping instructions. In the

INSTRUCCIONES
DE MANTENIMIENTO
Su aparato requiere poco mantenimiento. No ne cesita
lubricación. Mantenga todas las aber turas libres de
polvos y pelusas. Cuando sea necesa rio limpiarlo,
desenchúfelo, permita que enfríe y limpie la superf icie
exterior con un paño humedecido. En caso de mal
