your appliance near the straightening plates,

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This 2-in-1 styling iron is intended for household
use. Use on Alternating Current (50/60 hertz)
only. This unit is designed to be operated at
120-240 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
DUAL VOLTAGE
This styling iron will automatically adjust to the
proper voltage. Use an adapter plug with correct
confi guration prior to use in outlet.
TO STYLE HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the 2-in-1 styling iron. Plug the
iron into an electrical outlet. Turn on unit.
Your 2-in-1 styler will heat up quickly.
To turn off, slide switch to off position (light
will go off). Never leave your 2-in-1 styling
iron on and unattended.
WARNING: The 2-in-1 styling iron’s ceramiccoated plates will get very hot within a
few seconds. The side curling plates can
become warm and should not be placed in
contact with the skin after the 2-in-1 styling iron has been turned on.
GETTING STARTED
The styler’s high-heat temperature setting
and Instant Heat technology provide styling
versatility for all hair types.
STRAIGHTENING
Start with a hair section that is 1" wide and
no more than
1
⁄2" thick. Open the styler and
place a hair section between the two hot
plates, close to the scalp. Trap hair between
the plates by firmly squeezing the handles
together. While maintaining the tension,
slowly pull the unit down along the hair section toward the end of hair. For best results,
use a light styling product before blow-drying
hair. At the end of hair section, release the
pressure on the handle and allow the hair
section to slide out. Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the
hair style you desire. It may be necessary to
repeat the process on certain areas, depending on the texture of your hair.
• Slowly glide the You Style unit along the
length of the hair from root to tip in an
outward motion.
• Release the You Style unit from the hair.
• To ensure the curl
sits neatly in place,
take the end of the
section you have just
curled and turn 180°
in the direction of
the curl.
• Repeat as necessary.
Some experience is necessary when learning to
use this 2-in-1 styling tool. After using the styler
several times, you will learn the ideal way to
straighten and style your hair.

The new You Style 2-in-1 Ceramic Styler uses
revolutionary technology that creates fast, easy
curls in a single stroke, making curling as easy
as straightening, and producing beautiful curls.
Creating Curls
• Separate a section of hair. The smaller
the section, the more defined the curl; the
larger the section, the looser the curl or
wave. For best results, the section should
be no more than 1" wide.
• Take a section of hair
and slide the You Style
unit into the hair at
the roots, ensuring
that the side curved
curling plates are
facing towards the
head, and close the
plates together.
• Turn the You Style unit 180º downward,
so that the side curved curling plates
are facing outwards.

DE OPERACIÓN
Este aparato ha sido diseñado para uso
doméstico. Úselo solamente con Corriente
Alterna de 120/240V (50/60 Hz).
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en el
tomacorriente polarizado. Si no entrara en el
tomacorriente, inviértela. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un electri-
cista. No intente ir en contra de esta función
de seguridad.
DOBLE VOLTAJE
Este aparato es de doble voltaje. Se adaptará
automáticamente al voltaje adecuado. Sin em-
bargo, puede que sea necesario emplear un
adaptador de enchufe (no se in cluye) para utiliz arlo
fuera de los Estados Unidos.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
El cabello debería estar limpio y completa-
mente seco. Conecte el aparato al tomacor-
riente y oprima el botón de encendido. La luz
de encendido se encenderá. Escoja la tem-
peratura deseada (ver tabla a continuación).
El indicador luminoso parpadeará hasta que
las placas alcancen la temperatura escogida.
Para apagar el aparato, oprima el botón de
apagado. El indicador luminoso se apagará.
Nunca deje el aparato desatendido mientras
esté conectado.
ADVERTENCIA: Las placas se volverán muy
calientes en segundos. Los bordes ondu-
ladores también pueden volverse caliente.
No permite que hagan contacto con la piel
después de encender el aparato.
ALTA TEMPERATURA
Su plancha alaciadora/onduladora aprovecha la
tecnología del calor instantáneo y produce calor
muy alto, ideal para todo tipo de cabello.
ALISADO
1. Divida el cabello en secciones de 2 pulga-
das de ancho por ½ pulgada de espesura o
menos. Nota: Para lograr resultados óptimos,
le aconsejamos que utilice un fijador ligero
antes de secar el cabello.
• Deslice suavemente la plancha hasta las
puntas con un movimiento curvo hacia
fuera.
• Abra las placas.
• Para fijar el bucle,
coja la sección
de cabello por las
puntas y déle una
vuelta completa
sobre sí misma en
dirección de la onda.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la manera
perfecta para alisar/ondular su cabello fácil y
rápidamente.

TECNOLOGÍA CERÁMICA
Las placas de su nueva plancha alaciadora
están cubiertas de una capa de cerámica
increíblemente suave, lo último en tecnología
cerámica. La cerámica hace que el cabello se
deslice fácilmente entre las placas y ayuda
a eliminar la estática y el frizz. Las placas

2. Coloque la plancha cerca del cuero cabel-
ludo, abra las placas y ponga una sección de
cabello entre ellas.
3. Cierre las placas y baje la plancha len-
tamente hacia las puntas, manteniendo las
placas bien cerradas.
4. Abra las placas y afloje el pelo después de
llegar a las puntas. Repita estos pasos hasta
obtener el estilo deseado. Según la textura de
su cabello, puede ser necesario alisar cada
sección de cabello varias veces.
ONDULADO
Su plancha alaciadora/onduladora permite
ondular el cabello fácil y rápidamente,
produciendo hermosos resultados.
• Coja una sección de cabello de 1 pulgada
de ancho o menos. Cuanta más fina la
sección, más definida la onda. Cuanta más
ancha la sección, más suelta la onda.
• Ponga el cabello entre
las placas, asegurán-
dose que los bordes
onduladores apunten
hacia la cabeza. Cierre
las placas.
• Voltee la plancha
hacia fuera, hasta que los bordes ondula-
dores apunten hacia abajo.

Your You Style 2-in-1 Ceramic Styler is
virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is
needed. Keep all vents and openings clear of
dirt and dust. If cleaning becomes necessary,
disconnect the unit from the power source,
allow to cool and wipe exterior with a cloth.
If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the
unit, allow it to cool, and return it for repair to
an authorized service center only. No repairs
should be attempted by the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap
the cord tightly around the appliance. Damage
will occur at the high flex point of entry into
the appliance, causing it to rupture and short
circuit. Inspect the cord frequently for damage.
Stop use immediately if damage is visible or if
unit stops or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to
store. Allow appliance to cool, then simply
store out of reach of children in a safe, dry
location. Do not jerk or strain cord at plug
connections. Do not wrap the line cord
around the appliance. Allow the cord to hang
or lie loose and straight at the point of entry
into the appliance.

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your
unit free of charge for 24 months from the date
of purchase if the appliance is defective in work-
manship or materials.
