Model ARD88258-50 is a laboratory-quality,
class "A" linear amplifier, which operates over
the full 800 MHz to 2,500 MHz frequency
range. This versatile amplifier covers all
popular wireless communication frequency
bands making the ARD88258-50 ideal for use
in testing wireless equipment. An integral
IEEE-488 interface bus provides fault monitor
and control of all amplifier functions.
The output power is rated at 50 watts at the 1 dB compression point. Gain is 47 dB minimum with typical
two tone intermodulation distortion (IMD) at <-30 dBc (at 50 watts PEP). With the power output
reduced, the amplifier is capable of superior IMD characteristics over the full 800 MHz to 2,500 MHz
frequency range. The ARD88258-50 is CE compliant, fulfilling all essential safety and compatibility
requirements as defined in the European Directives. T he protected and filtered AC input of the amplifier
automatically adjusts to accept a wide-range prime input power between 100 t o 240 VAC, single phase,
50/60Hz. The amplifier measures 10.5 inches high by 19 inches wide by 26.25 inches deep. Operating
temperature range is 0 to +50°C.
