The ow time is adjustable by turning a small at screw located under the operator. The operator is removed
by loosening a set screw with a 5/64” hex key. The ow time is INCREASED by turning the screw clockwise,
looking down from the top. The ow time is DECREASED by turning the screw counterclockwise.
Most guidelines call for the faucet to ow for 30 seconds. This is adjusted by turning the screw clockwise until
it stops (do not over tighten) and turning it back out, counterclockwise two to three turns, depending on the
supply pressure. This adjustment is for supply pressures between 20 and 100 PSI.
If the water ow does not stop, turn the screw counterclockwise. This may be done while the water is owing.
The screw cannot be turned all the way out and removed. If this is attempted, the valve will still operate but
close immediately. It is not recommended to have the screw unscrewed so far as to be loose.
This valve is often used with the KN50-X120-A spray aerator, rated at 0.5 GPM at 60 PSI.
