Please read this instruction manual carefully before operating the unit
• Remove isolation tape in battery compartment before charging battery for the fi rst time – this is located behind the battery inside the battery compartment
• Charge battery for minimum of 12 hours before fi rst use or if unit has not been used for a long period of time
• If unit is being stored away for a long period of time without use, remove battery from unit
• Battery should be charged every 3 months
WARNING
DO NOT use non rechargeable batteries as replacement for rechargeable battery
• Place unit in well ventilated area when in use or recharging battery
• Disconnect unit from power supply before removing the battery
• When placing battery in unit, ensure it is installed as indicated inside battery compartment
• Do not dispose of battery in fi re
• To be repaired by qualifi ed persons only
• DO NOT expose to rain
• If adaptor cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by a qualifi ed person
• This unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
• Children must be supervised at all times when around this unit

FAN OPERATION
• Turn the fan speed/oscillating control knob to required mode of operation; there are four operation modes:
Fixed Aim - Low speed
Fixed Aim - High speed
Oscillating - Low speed
Oscillating - High speed
• Use same control knob to switch off the appliance.
LED LIGHT OPERATION
• Turn LED light on by sliding light switch to ON
ABOUT THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
• Do not charge appliance with different types of rechargeable batteries other than battery type included
• Do not fi t non-rechargeable batteries
• When recharging the battery, ensure the appliance is in a well-ventilated area and switched off
• Ensure battery is placed correctly in battery compartment according to polarity battery contact (+) and (-)
• Do not put battery into fi re and avoid reverse charging
• Battery must be charged for approximately 12 hours in order to be fully charged
• Ensure the appliance is disconnected from power supply before removing the battery
• A leaking battery must be carefully removed from the appliance and disposed of properly
RECHARGING THE APPLIANCE
• Ensure appliance is switched off before recharging
• Place the fan on its back and open battery cover
• Connect the AC or DC adaptor charger to the input
• Route cable through side or rear guide channel to allow battery compartment cover to be re-fi tted
• Red charging light will become illuminated while battery is charging and will switch off once charging is complete
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Ensure appliance is switched off and disconnected from a power source before cleaning
• Clean with a damp cloth only – do not use any abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals
• Ensure all components are completely dry before storing the appliance
