DESCRIPTION
I SERIES Compact 600 loudspeakers provide
excellent acoustic per formance, flexibility and
elegant aesthetic s for a diverse range of applications
in today's per formance venues. Designed to support
the goals of systems integrators and consultants in
need of very compact loudspeakers with exceptional
near field fidelity for foreground or background music
applications and articulate voice projection with
very high output capabilities for fill and distributed
applications. I SERIES Compact loudspeakers are
engineered to be used alone or integrated into
arrays along with I SERIE S Point Source (IP) or
Subwoofer (IS) models using the comprehensive
selec tion of available BalancePoint™ Fly ware
modular arr ay bracket s.
The IC6 -2082/ 26 is designed for demanding
ext ended high ou tput, high p erform ance applic ations
without sacrificing fidelit y or coverage consis tenc y.
Most s ymmetric al dual 8" 2-way loudspeakers suer
from serious coverage inconsistencies through
the crossover region. The IC6-2082/26 solves this
problem by using a very high qualit y, low distor tion
1.7" diaphragm neodymium HF compression driver
on a large field-rotatable horn that is crossed over
to par tially baed 8" LF drivers at an unusually low
crossover frequency. The combination of baes
and low crossover point allows the IC6-2082/26 to
per form simi larly to a c oaxial l oudspe aker, resulti ng in
a consis tent, s ymmetr ical, and w ide cover age patt ern
through its operating r ange. The long excursion LF
drivers and low velocit y por t eortlessly extend LF
performa nce at any outp ut level. Additi onally, 16 ohm
or 70V/100V models expand application flexibility
both indoors and out. Multiple attachment points
provide compatibilit y with a variety of Communit y
and third party mounting brackets.
