ENTASYS 200
Compact Column Arrays
Multi-way. Musical. High output. High intelligibility. Versatile.
ENTASYS 200
A NEW DIMENSION IN ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
Imagine having the ability to direct sound precisely where it’s needed.
Damaging acoustical reflections from ceilings, walls and floors
become a thing of the past.
Intelligibility and musicality are vastly improved.
Now imagine that this can be accomplished with attractive, discreet loudspeakers in indoor or outdoor applications, with your choice of
low impedance or constant-voltage amplication, and that all necessary
Community introduces the new ENTASYS 200 Series of column array loudspeakers. A better class of products at an affordable price point, with four sizes to choose from for a variety of applications, with Community’s industry-leading all-weather technology applied, and easy to install right out of the box.
ADVANCED SOUND TECHNOLOGY
Column array loudspeakers have become very popular because they look good and solve acoustical problems. However, those that rely solely on
cone drivers exhibit signicant narrowing in the high frequencies, causing
uneven coverage of the room. ENTASYS 200 features Community’s Compact Ribbon Emulator (CRE) array technology, providing smooth
high frequency response and coherent coupling past 16 kHz. The CRE high frequency element drivers offer sealed polymer frames and diaphragms, while the low frequency drivers employ a 100% urethane
impregnated cone with a large polymer dust cap covering the voice coil, providing weather-resistance for outdoor applications. Because the
CRE reproduces high frequencies independently of the LF cone drivers,
all ENTASYS 200 models provide true two-way, full-range high output
capability. Moreover, the crossovers were designed for at phase and frequency response.
In the larger ENTASYS 200 models, the
crossover circuitry features frequency shading
that eliminates vertical beamwidth narrowing in
the upper-bass and mid frequencies. The result
is sonic excellence and a predictable dispersion
pattern, without the midrange narrowing and HF
lobing found in most one-way driver columns.
Dynamic protection circuitry is built into every model. Engineered to be as sonically transparent as possible, Community’s protection circuitry activates in several progressive stages whenever conditions of overdrive are sensed.
ULTIMATE VERSATILITY
The ENTASYS 200 family starts with the ENT203, which utilizes three 80mm woofers and a three-
element CRE HF module. Next are the ENT206,
with six woofers and a six-element CRE module,
and the ENT212 with twelve woofers and a
twelve-element CRE module. At the top of the line is the ENT220 which is nearly identical to the
ENT212 but features eight additional LF drivers to further enhance low frequency pattern control
and output.
The small format ENT203 and ENT206 columns can ll a vast range of requirements, where other column arrays are simply too large or too
expensive to compete. These models are perfect for small houses of
worship, restaurants, boardrooms, courtrooms, delay-ll in larger venues,
and an almost endless number of other applications.
As the size of the venue increases, the size of the column needs to increase as well. Unlike some competing products, the larger format
ENT212 and ENT220 do not need add-on LF columns to provide welldened and tightly-controlled low frequency response characteristics.
Each is capable of power levels that rival a typical “point-and-shoot” loudspeaker system, while delivering the precisely dened pattern control that only a column line array loudspeaker can provide.
THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS
Each ENTASYS 200 model provides superior results at an affordable price
point that is able to t nearly any market segment.
The smaller ENT203 and ENT206
provide clear, clean sound while
readily tting into restrictive spaces.

All models include an appropriately sized pan-tilt mounting bracket and a
built-in, low distortion 70V/100V autoformer with taps properly scaled for
each model’s power handling capability. A low impedance Speakon-type connector is also provided, and a safety cable attachment point is molded into the top of each enclosure.
ENTASYS 200 loudspeakers provide accurate sonic reproduction in an aesthetically pleasing slim column format in both indoor and outdoor applications. Community’s advanced all-weather technology makes all ENTASYS 200 models ready for outdoor installation in water parks, marinas, stadia, transit stations, and other harsh climate venues without fear of performance degradation.
