PD15-UL-M KIT
INSTRUCTIONS
The Command Access PD15-UL-M-KIT is a eld-installable motorized latch-
pullback kit for the Jackson 1285/95 & AHT 8/9 series devices.

SPECIFICATIONS
• Input Voltage: 24VDC +/- 10%
• Wire gauge: Minimum 18 gauge
• Direct wire run - no relays or access control units in-between power supply & module

Average Latch Retraction Current: 1 Amp Average Holding Current: 215 mA
High Torque Mode
Average Latch Retraction Current: 2 Amp Average Holding Current: 250 mA

Select your preferred torque mode (ships in standard torque) Press the device push pad to the desired setting. (Recommend to fully depress and release 5%, giving the device room for changing door conditions.)
While depressing the push pad, apply power. (i.e. presenting the credential to the reader).
Continue to keep pad depressed, the device will beep 6 times. After the beeps have stopped, release the pad and now the adjustment is complete. If not to your liking repeat the 3 steps.
Once you’ve found the correct location, ip the dip switch to o to lock programming.

Solution
> 30V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V.
< 20V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V.
problem persists by contacting oce.
After 1st fail: 5 beeps then immediately attempts to retract again. After 2nd fail: 5 beeps with pause in-between for 30 seconds then device attempts to retract again. After 3rd fail: 5 beeps every 7 minutes, device will not attempt to retract. To Reset: Depress bar for 5 seconds at any time.
Device is recording it’s new position and power mode after the 6th beep.

STEP 1 - Disassemble Exit Device
Remove (2) screws on push pad end caps from

Remove head assembly by removing (2) screws.

Underneath pushpad remove dogging assembly.

Re-attach head assembly by securing (2) screws.

Next, we’ll be installing the kit in between the

STEP 2- Installing Kit
Add bracket #50453 to front activating bracket. Dropping it over the top and securing it with the

screw provided.

On the baserail, remove the back (2) screws from the dogging bracket.

Next, drop the motor mount in with the front over the front activating bracket.

Line up the back with the (2) available screw holes and the bracket securing the motor mount.

Push screws to correct position (pictured) to straighten

Slide all the way up until the MM4 bracket is almost ush with end of the channel. Tighten all (4) screws here to secure MM4

Connect MM4 Cable. Attach the strain relief and secure MM4 cable with a zip tie.

1. Attach the wire guides to the inside of the baserail.
2. Route wires along the inside of the baserail using the wire guides.
**HOOK UP TO POWER & TEST MOTOR BEFORE MOVING ON TO STEP 5.**

Turn over BACK push pad end cap over and start a pilot hole beneath the bottom right hand corner

(see measurements below). Use the gold bracket as a guide. Once your hole is drilled use your
preferred method to clear out the remaining debris and le to clean up the edges.

2. Set “Push-to-Set” and once you found the correct location, turn PTS switch to OFF position.
