PLEASE READ AND SAVE THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury to persons, including
the following:

1. Read all instructions before using this heater.

2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles
when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the heater.

3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children, pets or invalids and whenever the
heater is left operating unattended.

4. Use your heater only in dry environments. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and
similar indoor locations. Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. Do not
use your heater outdoors. Do not use near sinks, swimming pools or other damp areas such as flooded basements,
garages, etc. or anyplace where the heater could come in contact with water.

5. A heater has hot and arcing parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are
used or stored.

6. To disconnect heater, first turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet. Always unplug the heater when
not in use.

7. Always unplug heater by removing the plug end from the outlet when not in use. Never unplug by pulling on
the cord as this can damage the power cord.

8. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment or repair.

9. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable
power strip.

10. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange
cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

11. It is normal for the plug to feel warm to touch; however, a loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and
plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn
outlet.

12. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electrical shock or fire, or damage the heater.

13. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a
bed, where openings may become blocked.

14. Do not operate heater with any safeguards removed.

15. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

16. This heater draws 12.5 amps during operation. To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a
circuit that already has other appliances working.

17. Do not use outdoors.

ZONE HEATING SAVES!

The concept of Zone Heating is simple. Use High Efficiency heaters to heat the rooms you use most, during the
times you use these areas and turn back the thermostat to your central heating system. To achieve the
maximum benefit it is important to understand your heater and where best to locate it.

Please follow these suggestions:

1. Close doors to areas you do not wish to heat.

2. Locate a three prong outlet along an interior wall if possible. Position the heater so that the warm air
can blow unobstructed across the room towards the exterior walls.

3. Check your windows and doors for the infiltration of cold air and insulate as needed to avoid heat
loss. Rapid heat loss will minimize the effectiveness of your Infrared heater as it would any
conventional type heater.

4. Keep the area around the heater free of obstructions to insure maximum airflow. Keep electrical
cords, drapery, furniture, and other combustibles 3 feet (0.9 M) away from the front of the heater
and away from the sides.

5. Avoid locating your heater in high traffic areas or in direct sunlight.

6. Avoid locating your heater near your central heating thermostat.

LOCATING YOUR ELECTRIC FIREPLACE

Your new freestanding electric fireplace may be installed virtually anywhere in your home. However,
when choosing a location for your new electric fireplace, ensure that the general instructions are
followed. For best results, install the electric fireplace out of direct sunlight or near your central
heating thermostat

NOTE: This appliance comes equipped with an overheat protection safety device. Should the
appliance begin to overheat for any reason, it will automatically turn all heater functions of
the appliance off. The appliance will have to be reset prior to continuing use. To reset the
over-heat protection safety device, turn all controls off and unplug the appliance. Wait 15
minutes, plug the appliance back in and turn on. If the appliance continuously overheats,
please call our customer service department.

not only turn off heater from the main “ON/OFF” switch, be sure to unplug this heater.

This heater is for use on 120 volts only. The cord has a plug as shown in the following figure.

with a properly grounded outlet is

The adapter should not be used if a three-slot
grounded receptacle is available.

Wall Anchor Safety Cable:

The use of wall anchor safety cable is highly recommended in order to reduce the risk of the fireplace being
tipped over accidentally.

WARNING: THIS CABLE MAY REDUCE POSSIBLE RISK OF INJURY IF THE FIREPLACE IS IMPROPERLY
HANDLED, BUT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROPER ADULT SUPERVISION. CHILDREN SHOULD NOT
BE LEFT UNATTENDED NEAR ANY HEATER.

1. Drill a 5/16” (8mm) hole ion the wall. Insert the plastic wall anchor into the hole and gently tap until the
flange on the anchor is against the wall surface.

2. Position the back edge of the mantel close to the wall.

3. Attach the safety cable to the mantel using the screw for mantel.

4. Use the screw for the wall to attach the other end of safety cable to the wall.

5. Make sure all screws are tight.

OPERATION:

The heater controls are located on the top right corner of the insert.

Power: Press this button for main power function and flame effect. Press again to power unit off.

When heater is turned off, the unit fan will continue running for 30 second to dispence heat.

°C/°F: Celsius/Farenheit: Press this button to switch between the two temperature scales. The

corresponding Celsius (C) or Farenheit (F) LED will indicate the setting.

Timer: Press this button for the timer function. The letters “0H” to “8H” will appear on the LED

screen. “0H” means there is no set running time set and the heater will run continuously. The “1H”
to “8H” indicate the number of hours that the heater will operate before shutting off.

Flame: Press this button for Flame Effect. The numbers “6” to “0” will appear on the LED screen “6”

indicates the highest and brightest flame. “0” means there is no flame effect.

Temperature: Press up or down to reach desired temperature. When desired ambient temperature is

reached, the heater will automatically stop heating. When the ambient temperature drops below the
desired temperature by 2° the heater will resume heating.

Note: When the power button is turned off, all other functions will stop even though the buttons may be in
the “on” positions.

El concepto de la Calefacción de Zona es sencillo. Utilice calentadoras Altas de Eficiencia para calentar los
cuartos que usted utiliza más, durante los tiempos usted utiliza estas áreas y se vuelve el termostato a su
sistema de la calefacción central. Para lograr el beneficio máximo que es importante comprender su
calentadora y donde vence situarlo.

Siga por favor estas sugerencias:

Cable de seguridad para anclaje para muro:

Es muy recomendable usar el cable de seguridad para fijar a la pared, a efectos de reducir el riesgo de caída
accidental de la estufa.

1. Perfore un orificio de 5/16” (8 mm) en la pared. Inserte en el orificio el anclaje plástico para muro y
empuje suavemente hasta que el reborde del anclaje quede a nivel de la superficie.

2. Posicione el lado posterior de la repisa sobre la pared.

3. Sujete el cable de seguridad a la repisa con el tornillo de repisa.

4. Con el tornillo para muro, fije el otro extremo del cable de seguridad a la pared.

5. Verifique que todos los tornillos estén bien ajustados.

FUNCIONAMIENTO:

Llama: Presione este botón para el efecto de llama. Los números “6” a “0” aparecerán en la pantalla

LED. “6” indica la llama de mayor brillo e intensidad. “0” significa que el efecto de llama está apagado.

Temperatura: Presione hacia arriba o abajo para establecer la temperatura deseada. Al alcanzar la

temperatura ambiente deseada, la estufa dejará de emitir calor automáticamente. Cuando la
temperatura ambiente descienda 2° por debajo de la temperatura deseada, la estufa comenzará a
calentar nuevamente.

7. Toujours débrancher le poêle en retirant la prise lorsque celui-ci n'est pas en cours d'utilisation. Ne jamais
débrancher en tirant sur le cordon car cela pourrait l'endommager.

8. Ne pas faire fonctionner de poêle dont le cordon ou la prise sont endommagés ou en état de disfonctionnement

ajustement méchanique ou technique ou réparation.

9. Toujours brancher le poêle directement dans une prise électrique ou réceptacle mural. Ne jamais utiliser avec
une corde d'extension ou une multi-prise.

10. Ne pas faire passer le cordon sous un tapis. Ne pas couvrir le cordon avec des carpettes, draps ou couvertures
similaires. Placer le cordon à l'écart des zones de passage, là ou il ne pourra pas être accroché

11. Il est normal que la prise soit chaude au toucher ; cependant, un espace entre la prise de courant et la prise
peut causer une surchauffe et une distortion de la prise. Veuillez contacter un électricien qualifié afin de remplacer
la prise usée ou distordue.

12. Ne pas insérer ou ne laisser entrer aucun objet extérieur dans la ventilation or dans la sortie d'échappement,
cela pourrait créer un choc électrique, un incendie ou endommager le poêle.

CHAUFFAGE ZONE SAUVE!

Le concept de chauffage par zone est simple. Utilisez chauffage à haute efficacité pour chauffer les pièces que
vous utilisez le plus souvent, dans les moments que vous utilisez ces domaines et remonter le thermostat à
votre système de chauffage central. Pour obtenir le maximum d'avantages, il est important de comprendre
votre appareil de chauffage et le meilleur endroit pour le trouver.

S'il vous plaît suivez ces suggestions:

1. Fermez les portes vous ne souhaitez pas chauffer.

2. Localisez une prise à trois broches le long d'un mur intérieur si possible. Placez le chauffage de sorte

LOCALISATION DE VOTRE FOYER ÉLECTRIQUE

Votre foyer autonome nouvel électrique peut être installé pratiquement n'importe où dans votre maison.
Toutefois, lorsque vous choisissez un emplacement pour votre foyer électrique, vérifier que les instructions
générales sont suivies. Pour de meilleurs résultats, installez le foyer électrique hors du soleil direct.

REMARQUE : Cet appareil est équipé d'un dispositif de sécurité pour une protection thermique. Si l'appareil

CHAUFFAGE.

1. Percez un trou de 5/16 po (8 mm) dans le mur. Insérez l'ancrage mural en plastique dans le trou et tapez
doucement jusqu'à ce que la bride sur l'ancrage soit contre la surface du mur.

2. Placez le bord arrière du manteau près du mur.

3. Fixez le câble de sécurité au manteau en utilisant la vis pour le manteau.

4. Utilisez la vis pour le mur pour fixer l'autre extrémité du câble de sécurité au mur.

5. Assurez-vous que toutes les vis soient bien serrées.

l'écran DEL. OH signifie qu'il n'y a pas de temps de fonctionnement réglé et l'appareil de chauffage
fonctionnera continuellement. 1H et 8H indiquent le nombre d'heures que l'appareil fonctionnera
avant de s'éteindre.

Flamme : appuyez sur ce bouton pour obtenir l'effet de flamme. Les chiffres 6 à 0 apparaîtront sur

l'écran DEL; 6 indique la flamme la plus haute et la plus brillante. 0 indique qu'il n'y a pas d'effet de
flamme.

Température : appuyez vers le haut ou vers le bas pour obtenir la température voulue. Lorsque la

température ambiante voulue est atteinte, l'appareil de chauffage cessera de chauffer
automatiquement. Lorsque la température ambiante baisse de 2 degrés sous la température voulue,
l'appareil de chauffage cessera de chauffer.

Note : lorsque le bouton d'alimentation est éteint, toutes les autres fonctions s'éteindront, même si les
boutons sont en positions ON.
