Introduction:
Even thou these transmitters are 25 years old, IBB Delano, California regularly uses all three transmitters. Recently, several of the original capacitors were discontinued. IBB asked Comet initiated a study to identify replacement capacitors for their Collins Model 821A Transmitter.
Scope:
It was critical to IBB to minimize changes required to their transmitters.
Application:
IBB Delano is still evaluating these alternatives.
