Overview

Standard Features

The Simon XT™ talking touchpad (60-924-3-XT) is an
alkaline-battery-operated, wall-mounted touchpad that
extends the physical accessibility and basic system operation
of a Simon XT security system. Ideal for systems where more
than one control point is desired, the touchpad provides
auxiliary control in residential applications with multiple levels
or multiple entry and exit points. Installed within 100 ft.
(30 m) of the panel, the talking touchpad allows the user
to enter commands and hear feedback from the panel.

Compatible with Simon XT security system version 1.2
and later, the touchpad provides a convenient option
for the following remote system operations:

Arming the system, including doors, windows and •
motions sensors
Arming the system with no entry delay•
Disarming the system•
Activating a panic alarm to call the central •
monitoring station for a non-medical emergency
Checking system status•
