Turn ON your T V. Using your TV remote,
press the input/sour ce button. Selec t
the name of the TV port you u sed in Step
1C. You should then see an acti vation
screen on your TV.
Step 1 Plug in & power up Step 2 Activate your service
If you will be connecting a wire less gateway make sure it is ins talled first.

If you don’t see the Ac tivation S creen, go back t o Step 1C a nd make sure the HDMI cable is pl ugged into
the HD to TV port. Also , make sure you’r e using your TV remote (not you r XFINITY remote) to change
the input/source on your TV.

Pull the plastic tab from th e back of your
XFINITY remote to activate it.

To connect your splitter to the cable wall
outlet screw one end of a coax cable to the
side of the splitter with the sin gle port and
the other end to the cable wall outlet.

Screw one end of the coax cable to t he
Cable In/RF In port on your set-to p box.
Screw the other end to the cable wall
outlet or one of the ports on the split ter.

The My Account app provides easy to use tools to identify and fix common issues.
Also, it allows you to view your balance and pay your bill.
To download the app, search for “XFINITY My Account” in the Apple App Store or

the Cable Out port on your se t-top box.
Screw the other end into the Cable In
coax port on your TV.
For non-HDTVs

other end into an HDMI port on your T V.
Take note of which HDMI port you use on
your TV. You will reference it later.

televisor, presione el botón de input/
source. Seleccione el nombre d el puerto
del televisor que usó en el Paso 1C.
