Guide
(inside canopy)
Speaker Wire Path: on each side of the canopy enclose the Speaker Wire in its Wire Guide then place wire behind the seat toward the Player Storage Pocket.
Buttonhole
The canopy has two Wire Guides, located on the inside of each side of the canopy.
Make sure the canopy is in the open position before installing speakers.
1. While facing the front of the canopy, thread each speaker from the inside through the buttonhole (located near each canopy speaker pocket) and insert the speakers into pockets and Velcro them closed.
2. Next, run the speaker wires through each guide and Velcro them closed.
3. Grasp the jack on the speaker wire and place behind the seat cushion. The jack must come through the bottom of the canopy.
4.The seat cushion has a storage pocket on the back. Place your portable CD, cassette, mini-disc or MP3 player inside the back pocket.
5.Insert the (2.8 mm) mini-plug into the player. Turn on your player.
CAUTION
Be sure to test the volume on your player. Set it at a comfortable level so that it does not startle your baby when turning it on. Loud volume can hurt your baby’s ears. If you notice that the sound has become weak or distorted or if tracks do not change, this is an indication that your batteries are low. Replace the batteries and set the volume at a comfortable level.
CAUTION
Before folding your Deluxe Activity Rocker™, be sure to remove your player from the back pocket of the canopy.
This will make it easier to fold the Deluxe Activity Rocker™. When you fold the Deluxe Activity Rocker™, you may leave
the speakers in the Acoustic Canopy, but only for short periods of time.
In the summer, the temperature may get as high as 150°F/65°C or more in your car or car trunk. Do not leave your Deluxe Activity Rocker™, with the speakers in the Acoustic Canopy pockets, in your car trunk where the temperature may reach these high levels. Store speakers in a cool and dry area.

Note: The metal hooks have a small opening through which the seat cushion strap can be removed. See diagram.
1. Unthread the straps located on each side of the armrest through the small opening of the metal hooks.
2. Look under the seat cushion and unthread the straps that are attached to the frame behind the waist belt. Also remove the straps behind the crotch belt that are attached to the footrest. Note: This step will be easier if you recline

To attach the seat cushion
Reverse the procedure for removing the seat cushion. Make sure that all straps and metal hooks are fastened correctly.
Using the Reclining Backrest
The recline can be adjusted to 3 different positions. We recommend that you use the most reclined position (sleeping position) for your baby until the baby’s neck is strong enough to hold up its own head.
To change the recline angle, squeeze the reclining lever while holding the top of the backrest with the same hand. Be sure to squeeze it up until it can move freely, recline to desired angle and push the backrest into place to lock at the correct angle.
CAUTION
If adjusting while the baby is in the Deluxe Activity Rocker
, be careful to hold the backrest with your other hand to prevent abrupt position changes, and lift up slightly on the backrest before releasing the recline lever.

Routine Maintenance
Trouble Shooting
STORE IN A COOL AND DRY AREA, especially in the summer. Do not store the Deluxe Activity Rocker™ in the trunk of a vehicle.
SEAT CUSHION – The seat cushion is machine washable. Set to gentle cycle using warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Lay seat cushion flat to dry in a shaded area. Do not machine dry. To prevent color fading, do not leave soaking for a long period. If the seat cushion is frayed or unraveling, discontinue use and call customer service for further instruction.
CANOPY, HARNESS – Hand wash with brush. Wipe out excess water with a dry cloth and dry in a shaded area. For stubborn dirt, dilute a mild detergent then apply directly to the dirty area. Wipe out the detergent.
CLEANING THE FRAME AND FOOTREST – Briskly wipe off any mud and dirt. To clean the body, wipe with a damp cloth then wipe out any traces of moisture on the body with a dry cloth. The main body might become moldy and musty if not wiped dry.
TOYS – spot clean, not machine washable.
Excessive exposure to the sun could cause premature color fading of Deluxe Activity Rocker
plastic and fabric.
Adjusting the Waist Belt and Shoulder Straps
To adjust waist belt, pull up the slack on each side of the belt.
After adjusting the waist belt and the shoulder straps, make sure they are fastened securely.
Note:
If the shoulder straps are uneven, check the shoulder strap slip guard located above the player storage pocket on the backside of the seat. The shoulder strap may be adjusted by sliding it to the right or left through the slots to evenly adjust the shoulder strap hooks. Make sure the shoulder straps are pulled forward. The slip guard must fit snugly against the back of the seat.
