Wiring instructions
INSTALLATION
DM298FP
• Isolate mains supply
• Use supplied plastic tool to remove the nut from the spindle of the dimmer.
• Fit the dimmer into the front plate, fit and tighten the spindle nut.
• Connect the dimmer to the mains supply, 220-240V AC, 50Hz.
See below for wiring examples.
• Secure the face plate to the back box.

• Isolate mains supply
• Refer to the grid assembly instructions below to fit the appropriate grid adaptor, and clip
the adaptor into the grid.
• Connect the dimmer to the mains supply, 220-240V AC, 50Hz. See below for wiring
examples.
• Secure the face plate to the grid plate.

SET MINIMUM BRIGHTNESS
The minimum brightness level can be adjusted if desired.
• Start with dimmer OFF
• Rotate knob clockwise to MAXIMUM
• Switch dimmer ON
• Rotate knob anticlockwise to minimum brightness.
• Turn dimmer OFF, then back ON.
• Rotate knob clockwise to maximum.
• Turn dimmer OFF, then back ON.
• LEDs will flash twice. Dimmer is now in setting mode.
• Turn knob to desired minimum brightness.
• Turn dimmer OFF, then back ON. LED’s will flash once to confirm the new
setting is saved.
NOTE: If flickering is noticed at the minimum level, slightly increase the minimum
brightness setting.
The minimum brightness can be reset by repeating the above process.
