LED UNITS IN DAMP/WET ENVIRONMENTS
A suitable waterproof junction box or enclosure must be used to maintain the IP
rating of the product.
Failure to use a suitable junction box or enclosure will invalidate the warranty
Collingwood Lighting recommend junction box JB1 or JB5
(examples above show 5x LED units wired in parallel)
WARNING: Do not install LED units into wood which has been treated with
creosote, e.g. Old railway sleepers. Creosote fumes can permeate the silicon seals
and damage the LEDs.

ENCASTRÉS LED DANS LES ENVIRONNEMENTS HUMIDES OU MOUILLÉS
Une boîte de connexion ou un boîtier étanche approprié doit être utilisé afin de
maintenir l’indice de protection IP du produit.
En cas de non utilisation d’une boîte de connexion ou d’un boîtier étanche
approprié, la garantie sera invalidée.
Collingwood Lighting conseille l’utilisation d’une boîte de connexion JB1 ou JB5
(les exemples ci-dessus montrent 5 encastrés LED câblés en parallèle)
ATTENTION: N’installez pas de luminaire LED dans du bois traité avec de la
créosote, par exemple des traverses de chemin de fer. Les fumées de créosote
peuvent s’infiltrer dans le joint en silicone et endommager les LED.

Verbinderbox JB1 oder JB5 (die Beispiele oben zeigen 5x LED Einheiten in
Parallelschaltung) werden bei Collingwood Lighting empfohlen.
WARNUNG: Installieren Sie LED-Produkte nicht in Holz, das mit Kreosot
behandelt wurde, wie z. B. alte Eisenbahnschwellen. Die Dämpfe können die
Silikondichtungen durchdringen und die LEDs beschädigen.

LED UNITS IN DRY ENVIRONMENT (i.e. no moisture or condensation)
Junction boxes JB1 or JB5 (see overleaf) may be used for convenience.
Alternatively, wire the LED units in parallel to the LED driver using any
connectors suitable for SELV (Separated Extra Low Voltage)
The diagram above is an example with three LED units wired in parallel.

Les boîtes de connexion JB1 ou JB5 (voir au verso) peuvent être utilisées pour
faciliter l’installation.
Sinon câblez les encastrés LED en parallèle à l’alimentation en utilisant les
connecteurs appropriés pour TBTS (très basse tension de sécurité)
Le schéma ci-dessus est un exemple de câblage en parallèle reliant 3 encastrés.

Für einen bequemen Anschluss können die Verbinderboxen JB1 und JB5 verwendet
werden, wie umseitig abgebildet.
Alternativ verbinden Sie die in Parallel geschalteten LED Einheiten mit dem
Vorschaltgerät, indem Sie jeden Verbinder verwenden, der SELV (Separated Extra
Low Voltage) geeignet ist.
