LED units in dry environment (i.e. no moisture or
condensation)
Junction boxes JB2 or JB4 (see overleaf) may be used for
convenience.
Alternatively, wire the LED units in series to the LED driver
using any connectors suitable for SELV (Separated Extra Low
Voltage)
1. Connect red wire of first LED unit to + (plus) driver output
terminal.
2. Connect black wire of last LED unit to - (minus) driver
output terminal.
3. Connect black to red as shown, i.e. current flows ‘in’
through each red wire and ‘out’ through each black wire.
The diagram above is an example with three LED units wired
in series.
WARNING: Do not install LED units into wood which has been
treated with creosote, e.g. old railway sleepers. Creosote
fumes can permeate the silicone seals and damage the LEDs.
See overleaf for wiring in a damp/wet environment.
Installation data
• Isolate the mains supply, prior to wiring.
• This unit must be wired by a qualified electrician or
suitable competent person.
• Use only with SELV 350mA or 700mA constant current
drivers.
• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable;
when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
Encastrés LED dans un environnement sans humidité ou
condensation
Les boîtes de connexion JB2 ou JB4 (voir au verso) peuvent
être utilisées pour faciliter l’installation.
Sinon branchez les encastrés LED, câblés en série, à
l’alimentation en utilisant les connecteurs adaptés au TBTS
(très basse tension de sécurité).
1. Connectez le câble rouge du premier piquet LED à la
borne de sortie + (positif) de l’alimentation.
2. Connectez le câble noir du dernier piquet LED à la borne
de sortie - (négatif) de l’alimentation.
3. Connectez le fil noir au rouge comme sur le schéma, le
courant électrique ‘entre’ par chaque câble rouge et ‘sort’
par chaque câble noir.
Le schéma ci-dessus est un exemple de câblage en série
reliant 3 encastrés.
ATTENTION: N’installez pas de luminaire LED dans du bois
traité avec de la créosote, par exemple des traverses de
chemin de fer. Les fumées de créosote peuvent infiltrer le
joint en silicone et endommager les LED.
Voir au verso pour le câblage dans un environnement humide
ou mouillé.
Données d’installation
• Avant toute intervention, coupez le courant au tableau
général.
• Ce produit doit être raccordé par un électricien qualifié ou
une personne compétente appropriée.
• Utilisez uniquement des alimentations à courant constant
de 350mA ou 700mA.
• La source de lumière de ce produit doit être remplacée
par le fabricant, son agent de service ou une personne
qualifiée.

Für einen bequemen Anschluss können die Verbinderboxen
JB2 und JB4 verwendet werden, wie umseitig abgebildet.
Alternativ verbinden Sie die in Serie geschalteten LED
Einheiten mit dem Vorschaltgerät, indem Sie jeden Verbinder
verwenden, der SELV (Seperated Extra Low Voltage) geeignet
ist.
1. Verbinden Sie den roten Draht der ersten LED Einheit
mit dem mit + gekennzeichneten Anschluss des
Vorschaltgerätes.
2. Verbinden Sie den schwarzen Draht der letzten LED
Einheit Mit dem - gekennzeichneten (negativen)
Anschluss des Vorschaltgerätes.
3. Verbinden Sie schwarz mit Rot, wie gezeigt, d.h. Strom
fließt durch jeden roten Draht ein und durch jedes
schwarze Kabel hinaus.
Das Diagramm unterhalb ist ein Beispiel das drei in Serie
geschaltete LED Einheiten zeigt.
WARNUNG: Installieren Sie LED-Produkte nicht in
Holz, das mit Kreosot behandelt wurde, wie z. B.
alte Eisenbahnschwellen. Die Dämpfe können die
Silikondichtungen durchdringen und die LEDs beschädigen.
Schaltanweisungen für feuchte oder nasse Umgebungen
können Sie auf der Rückseite finden.
Installationsdaten
• Trennen Sie die die Netzversorgung, bevor Sie mit dem
Verkabeln beginnen.
• Diese Leuchte muss von einer qualifizierten Fachperson
oder geeigneten Experten installiert werden.
• Nur mit 350 mA oder 700 mA SELVKonstantstromtreibern verwenden.
• Die in dieser Leuchte enthaltene Lichtquelle darf nur
durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine
ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden.

LED units in damp/wet environments
A suitable waterproof junction box or enclosure must be used
to maintain the IP rating of the product.
Failure to use a suitable junction box or enclosure will
invalidate the warranty.
Collingwood Lighting recommend junction box JB2 or JB4
(examples above show 5x LED units wired in series).
WARNING: Do not install LED units into wood which has been
treated with creosote, e.g. Old railway sleepers. Creosote
fumes can permeate the silicone seals and damage the LEDs.
Detailed wiring instructions are supplied with JB2 and JB4.

Disposal of this product should be separate from household
waste. Please separate these items from other types
of waste and recycle them responsibly to promote the
sustainable reuse of material resource. Household
users should contact their local government office for
details of where and how they can take these items for
environmentally safe recycling.

En cas de non utilisation d’une boîte de connexion ou d’un
boitier étanche approprié, la garantie sera invalidée.
Collingwood Lighting conseille l’utilisation d’une boîte de
connexion JB2 ou JB4 (les exemples ci-dessus montrent 5
encastrés LED câblés en série).
