Installation

1. Establish a mains supply to each wall light position.

2. Isolate the mains supply prior to wiring.

3. Unscrew the front screw located above the photocell, use provided allen key (Fig 1).

4. Open the product, undo the tether, unplug the earth and remove front face of the
product.

5. Place the back cover on the wall and mark fixing positions. The distance between each
mark should be 162mm +/- 2mm. If using the supplied wall plugs, drill Ø8mm holes.
Note: Wall pack can be mounted on BESA boxes, drill the holes in the marked positions of
the back cover. To maintain IP rating of the product seal the connection between BESA
box and luminaire.

6. Feed the mains cable through one of the cable entry points and fix the back cover to the
wall. To maintain IP rating of the product ensure grommet or cable gland is used for cable
entry point.

7. Refit the front face, reconnect earth and tether.

8. Connect mains supply to the terminal block: L = live, = earth, N = neutral.
Note: The photocell activates the product to turn on at 10 - 20lux level.

9. Connect the battery cable (Fig 2).

10. Set required colour temperature, default is 3000K, see Fig 2 for location of the switch.

11. Close the front face ensuring the IP gasket is fitted to the back cover and free from debris
Secure it with the screw.

Emergency pack commissioning (emergency version only)

1. Provide an uninterrupted mains power supply (permanent live) for 24 hours.

2. Check that the green indicator LED light is lit. This confirms that the battery is charging. If
the green LED is ever not lit, investigate immediately and rectify the fault.

3. Remove the mains supply - the unit will operate under battery power for 3 hours minimum.

4. Restore mains power to the unit, check light functions correctly.

Testing (emergency version only)

Periodic testing of the unit must be performed in line with the appropriate regulations.

Installation

1. Établissez une alimentation secteur pour chaque position d’applique murale.

2. Isolez l’alimentation secteur avant le câblage.

3. Dévissez la vis avant située au-dessus de la cellule photoélectrique à l’aide de la clé Allen
fournie (fig. 1).

4. Ouvrez le produit, détachez la courroie, déconnectez le fil de terre et retirez la face avant
du produit.

5. Placez le couvercle arrière contre le mur et marquez les positions de fixation. La distance
entre chaque marque doit être de 162 mm +/- 2 mm. Si vous utilisez les chevilles fournies,
percez des trous de Ø 8 mm.
Remarque : le pack mural peut être monté sur une BESA box. Percez les trous dans les
positions marquées du couvercle arrière. Pour maintenir l’indice de protection IP du
produit, scellez le contact entre la BESA box et le luminaire.

6. Faîtes passer le fil d’alimentation par l’un des points d’entrée et fixez le couvercle arrière
au mur. Assurez-vous d’utiliser un passe-fil ou un presse-étoupe pour le point d’entrée du
fil afin de maintenir l’indice de protection IP du produit.

7. Installez la face avant, reconnectez le fil de terre et la courroie.

8. Connectez l’alimentation secteur au bornier : L = phase, = terre, N = neutre.
Remarque : la cellule photoélectrique pilote le produit pour s’allumer à un niveau de 10 à
20 lux.

9. Connectez le cable de batterie (fig. 2).

10. Réglez la température de couleur requise, la valeur par défaut est 3000K ; voir figure 2
pour l’emplacement du commutateur.

11. Fermez la face avant en vous assurant que le joint IP est placé sur le couvercle arrière et
exempt de débris. Fixez avec la vis.

Mise en service de l’éclairage de sécurité (version de sécurité uniquement)

Prévoir une alimentation secteur ininterrompue (permanente) pendant 24 h.
Vérifiez que le voyant LED vert est allumé. Il confirme que la batterie est en charge. Si la LED
verte ne s’allume pas, recherchez immédiatement le défaut et corrigez-le.
Retirez l’alimentation secteur ; l’appareil fonctionnera sur batterie pendant au moins 3 heures.
Rétablissez l’alimentation secteur ; vérifiez que l’éclairage fonctionne correctement.

Test (version de sécurité uniquement)

Des tests périodiques de l’appareil doivent être effectués conformément à la
réglementation en vigueur.

Installation data

• Isolate the mains supply, prior to wiring.

• This unit must be wired by a qualified electrician or suitable competent person.

• The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or
his service agent or a similar qualified person.

• When the unit no longer meets its rated emergency duration the emergency pack shall
be replaced (AREMGKIT).
