1. Safety
• Check that the voltage where you want to use the hotplate is compatible
with the product’s rated voltage. Make sure you connect the hotplate to an
earthed outlet.
• Place the hotplate on a dry, at and resistant surface. Make sure there is free
space surrounding the hotplate since the sides get hot during use.
• Never place any inammable objects such as towels, curtains, or plastic boxes
on or close to the hotplate.
• The hotplate should only be used as described in this instruction manual.
• Always keep the hotplate under supervision during use. Use the hotplate out
of reach for children.
• Be cautious when you heat up cooking oil. Keep the frying pan/saucepan
under supervision to avoid overheating.
• Never use the hotplate without a frying pan or saucepan since it can damage
the hotplate.
• The power lead should be regularly checked. Never use the device if the
power lead or plug is damaged.
• The power lead must be changed if damaged in order to avoid the risk of
chock or re, but this should only be done by the manufacturer, qualied
service station or professional.
• Do not pull or carry the hotplate by the cord. Do not use the lead as a handle
and do not let it fasten in door jambs. Do not pull the hotplate around sharp
corners and edges or over warm surfaces either.
• The hotplate should only be used and kept indoors.
• Do not open the casing. Certain parts inside the casing carry dangerous
currents. Touching these can give you an electric shock.
• The hotplate should not be changed or taken apart and only repaired by
qualied service personnel.
• Always unplug the hotplate from the wall socket before cleaning.
• Never lower the hotplate into water or other liquids. The hotplate can become
live and life threatening electric shocks may occur.
Warning:
To avoid risk for electric shock, turn off the hotplate and pull the plug out if the
hotplate has cracked or damaged.

2. Operating Instructions
1. Pick a suitable place for the hotplate according to the safety instructions.
2. Check that the hotplate is turned off and then connect the plug to the
wall socket.
3. When the hotplate is used the rst time the plate’s protective coating can
still be left. The hotplate can start to smoke when it gets warm, this is
completely normal.
4. A blue LED is lit whenever the hotplate plug is connected to the mains.
5. Always make sure there are no foreign objects such as water or food spills
on the hotplate before turning it on.
6. Adjust the heat for the food being cooked. Adjust the heat control clockwise
to turn the hotplate. Use position MIN to 3 for warming and position 4 to MAX
for cooking.
7. The red indicator lamp is lit when warming-up (i.e. when the heat setting is
from 1 to MAX) but has not yet reached the set temperature. The lamp shuts
off when the set temperature is reached.
8. Always turn off the hotplate immediately after use by setting heat setting to
MIN. Pull the plug out when the hotplate is not in use.
Advice for use
1. Always use at bottomed saucepans and frying pans which give good contact
with the hotplate.
2. The hotplate’s afterheat can be used to keep the food warm for a while after
the hotplate has been turned off.
3. Care and Maintenance
1. Always pull out plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
2. Never lower the hotplate into water or other liquids.
3. Clean the hotplate with a soft moistened cloth. Do not use cleaning solutions
or solvents.
4. The edge surrounding the plate can be cleaned with steel wool.
5. Food spills are easiest to remove when the hotplate is slightly warm (not hot!).

the disposal of this product contact your municipality.
