Layout & Positioning

of Rainfly, Pole Assembly
– Layout and position Rainfly with doors facing
desired direction. (illus. 1) Unzip doors.
– For best results in windy conditions, position
back of tent into the wind.
– Stake down rear tent corners. (illus. 1)
– Assemble frame poles by interlocking the
shock-corded sections. This will make two
long silver Main Tent Poles and one red
Side Pole.
– Insert the cap end of the two Main Tent Poles
through the poles sleeves with the silver trim.
– Insert the cap end of the red Side Pole through
the pole sleeve with the red trim.

Assemble Frame
– Start with one of the Main Tent Poles and
gradually apply pressure to the pole,
forming an arch, until you are able to
insert the pole tip into the grommet on
the corner web. (illus. 4)
– Repeat for second pole.
– Go to the Side Pole and gradually apply
pressure to the pole, forming an arch,
until you are able to insert the pole

Attach Tent
– Layout the tent. (illus. 5)
– Position the tent in under the Rainfly
– Starting at the back of the tent, clip the
tent to the Rainfly in the corners and then
the side. (illus. 6)
– Attach the top of the tent to underside of
the Rainfly with toggle and loops.

– Optional ground cloth in vestibule can be
removed or attached and clipped to the
webbing at front of the Rainfly. (illus. 6)
– Stake out rainfly doors, keep rainfly
taut. (illus. 8)
– Attach Guy Lines to Guy Wings
on the sides of the Rainfly and
stake out. (illus.8).

Things You Should Know
Under certain conditions (cold weather, high humidity, etc.) condensation will form on the inside surfaces of your tent. Condensation
•
is caused by water vapor from your breath, perspiration, or any wet clothing inside your tent. It is NOT LEAKAGE through the tent
fabric. It can be minimized by removing wet clothing from your tent and by providing good ventilation through the tent.
Never stor
•
drying it thoroughly and brushing off caked dirt. Do not pack
stakes or poles inside your tent. Use separate storage bag.
STAKES SHOULD BE REMOVED BY PULLING ON THE STAKE
•
ITSELF. NEVER PULL ON THE TENT FABRIC OR TENT STAKE
LOOP TO REMOVE STAKE.
TENT POLES SHOULD NOT BE LEFT TELESCOPED TOGETHER
