Helpful Hints
• Coleman® Liquid Fuel is recommended
when using the stove in temperatures
below 40° F or in high elevation.
• For best results, always use Coleman®
Filter/Funnel Part No. 5103A700T.
• If necessary, unleaded gasoline may be
substituted for Coleman
®
Liquid Fuel.
• Do not use kerosene in this stove.
To Set Up

Leak Check
■ Make sure FUEL VALVE is fully
“OFF”.
■ CHECK FOR LEAKS in one or more
ways. Look for fuel mist or a wet
appearance of fuel on surfaces.
Listen for hiss of escaping gas. Smell
for fuel odor. Never use a ame. Do
not use if leaking. (Fig. 9)

Installing Tank
■ Insert GENERATOR into large hole
on front of stove and into mixing
chamber above burner. Engage
TANK CLIPS into slots on front of
stove. (Fig. 10)

■ Swing WIND BAFFLES out and insert
the WIRE CLIPS into slots in ends of
stove. (Fig. 11)

Close AUXILIARY VALVE (OR
VALVES). Turn LIGHTING LEVER to
UP position.

STANDARD VERSION STOVE:
■ Hold lit match at MAIN BURNER
before opening the FUEL VALVE.
Open FUEL VALVE quickly, at least
two full turns. (Fig. 14)

■ Quickly open FUEL VALVE two full
turns while rotating IGNITOR KNOB

CAUTION
A persistent high, yellow ame indicates ooding or a leak. Close fuel
valve, let ames burn out and stove
cool. Turn stove upside down to
empty any fuel from burner and wipe
dry. Review instructions and relight
stove.
