■ Remove FUEL CAP. Use a funnel or
suitable filling device and fill with
clean, fresh fuel.

■ Replace FUEL CAP on tank and on

fuel container. Tighten firmly. WIPE
UP ANY SPILLED FUEL AND

Leak Check

■ Make sure FUEL VALVE is fully
“OFF”.

■ CHECK FOR LEAKS in one or more
ways. Look for fuel mist or a wet
appearance of fuel on surfaces.
Listen for hiss of escaping gas. Smell
for fuel odor. Never use a flame. Do
not use if leaking. (Fig. 9)

Installing Tank

■ Insert GENERATOR into large hole
on front of stove and into mixing
chamber above burner. Engage
TANK CLIPS into slots on front of
stove. (Fig. 10)

■ Swing WIND BAFFLES out and insert
the WIRE CLIPS into slots in ends of
stove. (Fig. 11)

• Perform leak test outdoors.

• Extinguish all open flames.

• NEVER leak test when smoking.

• Do not use the outdoor stove until connection
has been leak tested and does not leak.

Close AUXILIARY VALVE (OR

STANDARD VERSION STOVE:

■ Hold lit match at MAIN BURNER
before opening the FUEL VALVE.
Open FUEL VALVE quickly, at least
two full turns. (Fig. 14)

ELECTRONIC IGNITION
VERSION STOVE:

■ Quickly open FUEL VALVE two full
turns while rotating IGNITOR KNOB
clockwise until stove lights. (Fig. 15)

CAUTION

A persistent high, yellow flame indi­cates flooding or a leak. Close fuel
valve, let flames burn out and stove
cool. Turn stove upside down to
empty any fuel from burner and wipe
dry. Review instructions and relight
stove.

PRECAUCION

Una llama persistente muy alta y ama­rilla indica saturación o fuga. Cierre la
válvula de combustible, deje que las
llamas se consuman y que la estufa se
enfríe. Dé vuelta la estufa para vaciar

séquela. Revise las instrucciones y

for a period of five years from the date of original retail
purchase, this product will be free from defects in material

Things You Should Know

1. Rinse tank twice a year with fresh fuel to
remove sediment, gum formations, and
moisture accumulations.

2. Seasonally or before storage, squirt a few
drops of oil into the OIL HOLE in the pump
cap. This will keep the pump functioning
properly. (Fig. 26)

3. The LIGHTING LEVER moves a small needle
in and out of the generator gas tip. If stove is
hard to light or does not produce full heat
output, turn LIGHTING LEVER up and down
several times to clean generator.

4. Unleaded fuels may vary in quality and can
affect generator life and performance. If you
are having a problem with your stove or
generator using unleaded fuel, replace the
generator and try a different brand of
unleaded fuel.

5. The usual storage areas for camping and
picnic equipment are the basement, attic, or
garage. To avoid the accumulation of dust,
cobwebs, etc., that is common in these
areas, place your stove in a plastic bag and
seal it with a rubber band.

áreas cerradas o sin ventilación. Esta est­ufa consume aire (oxígeno). No la use en
áreas cerradas o sin ventilación para evi­tar poner en peligro su vida.

• Conserve todas las conexiones y los
conectores limpios. Inspeccione la tapa
del combustible si tiene tierra o está dañada
después de rellenar el tanque de com­bustible. Limpie cualquier combustible
derramado y deséchelo en un lugar seguro.

• Solamente úsela como un aparato para coci­nar. No la altere nunca de ninguna forma o
la use con ningún dispositivo o parte que no
esté aprobada expresamente por Coleman

• Limpie la estufa frecuentemente para evitar
acumulación de grasa y posibles incendios
por la grasa.

• Compruebe todas las conexiones por si hay
fugas. Combustible líquido presente en

las conexiones indica que hay una fuga.
