This preamplier is a precision device, designed in an eort to provide the listener with unmatched sound quality through superb design and construction.
Although its operation is fairly simple, in order to operate your preamplier properly and to realize all of the capabilites of the CP we recommend that you read this entire manual carefully.
2INTRODUCTION
INITIAL SETUP
Note: Many ampliers produce a local magnetic eld that can be picked up by the sensitive circuitry of a preamplier. Try to provide at least a foot of space between your amplier and your CP preamp.
The diagram below illustrates the rear connections of the CP.

A: The AC receptacle accepts any standard three-prong IEC line cord. Power input can be adjusted for any country, but is set internally at the factory. Contact Coda or your local Coda dealer if the voltage must be changed. Fuse specications are listed below the receptacle, and the fuse can be changed by unplugging the line cord, pulling out the fuse drawer and clipping in a new fuse.
B: Signal output is through two balanced XLR connectors and four unbalanced RCA connectors. The XLR pinout is identical to the input receptacles.
C: The Processor loop connectors permit the connection of an external audio device such as a surround sound processor or equalizer. Connect the output jacks to the input of the processor, and the output of the processor to the processor input jacks of the preamplier.
D: Signal input is through two balanced XLR connectors and eight unbalanced RCA connectors. The XLR receptacle has ground on pin 1, positive on pin 2 and negative on pin 3.
