About MP3
MP3 (MPEG1, Audio Layer3) is adigital audio format for quickdownloading files thatsound as goodas CDs. MP3 usesentropy encoding toreduce the numberof redundant soundsin an audiosignal to aminimum. It takes musicfrom a CDand reduces itby a factorof 12, with nonoticeable loss ofquality. On a normalCD of 74 minutesyou can storeover 130 songs.

Sampling rateshould be 44.1kHz and bitrate is recommended withinthe range from128 Kbps to 256 Kbps,in order toachieve the bestperformance. In general,higher quality settingsresult in larger file sizes.
