INST RUCT IONS FO R COAS T FL11 HEADL AMP:
BATT ERY INS TALLATI ON:
The FL11 uses two A A A alkaline b atteri es locate d in the rear o f the
headlamp.
To access the battery compartment, hinge the headlamp downward
to reveal th e rear of the he adlamp bod y. Once the rea r of the head lamp is reveal ed, pull the lo cking mechanism up to unl ock the bat tery
compartment.
Insert t he batte ries in the di rection i ndicated i nside the hea dlamp,
close the ba ttery compar tment door until it ‘c licks’ shut, and hinge t he
headlamp bac k towards t he reflec tive str ap. Never mix ol d and new
batter ies. Remove b atter ies befor e storing he adlamp for ex tended
periods of non-use.
WHITE & RE D LED LIGHT OPER ATION:
To turn on the ligh t, depres s the power sw itch on the top of the head lamp while wor n to enter “H igh” mode. De pressin g the same bu tton
a second tim e soon af ter will swit ch the headl amp to “Low ” mode. A
third depre ssion of t he butto n soon af ter will tur n the headla mp into
“Solid Re d” mode. A four th depre ssion of th e butto n soon af ter will
shift th e headlamp in to “Flash ing Red” mode . To shut down the li ght,
depress t he power swi tch a fift h and final tim e, or sometim e after th e
previous depression.
BEAM POSITION ADJUSTMENT:
The hinged ad justmen t allows you to t ilt the head lamp downwa rd to
illuminate cl ose objects. To adju st the tilt posit ion of the headlam p, hold
the body of t he headlamp w ith one han d and tilt the b ody away fr om
the back pla te (which re tains the s trap), hol ding the back p late with a
second han d (if necessar y).
HEAD STRAP ADJUSTMENT:
To adjust the FL11 to fit yo ur head, slide t he buckle s on the side of
the head st rap. It may be n ecessa ry to repo sition th e headlamp an d
batter y pack on the side head str ap once the h eadband is ad justed to
the proper size.
HARD HAT S AFETY HELM ET CLIP USE:
The FL11 includes he lmet clips fo r use with ha rd hat st yle safet y
helmets. To use t he helmet clip s, loose n the side hea dband to fit t he
helmet and at tach the clips to t he strap of the he adlamp, evenly space d
with two o n each side.
Note: Clip s are designed for use O NLY with HAR D HAT style safet y helmets. The y are not accepta ble for use on most s porting safe ty helmets.
MAINTENANCE:
Wipe the ex ternal body with a clo th moistened with wa ter or isopr opyl
alcohol. A llow to dry before u se. Do not submerge.
