Using CallExtend as a Digital Voice Announcer

(CallExtend version 4)

CallExtend can function as a digital voice announcer, where it answers calls, plays the
main greeting, and then hangs up. For this application, you can record the same message
on each of CallExtend’s ports, or you can record a different message on each port. Only
minimal programming needs to be completed in CallExtend – simply follow the steps
below:

Dial: 0 0 5 4 1 0 1 1 #
Dial: 0 0 7 and make sure CallExtend displays and says 4 1 0 1 1 .

Next, record your voice messages. To use the same message on both of CallExtend’s
ports, dial as follows:

Dial: 0 7 1 Speak into the Admin Phone to record the message; hang up when done.
Dial: 0 7 0 Listen to the message.

To record different messages for each of CallExtend’s ports, dial as follows:

Dial: 0 7 2 Speak into the Admin Phone to record the message for Port 1; hang up when done.
Dial: 0 7 0 Listen to the Port 1 message.
Dial: 0 7 3 Speak into the Admin Phone to record the message for Port 2; hang up when done.
Dial: 0 7

Listen to the Port 2 message.
