. Simply plug into the mains and start using THE C9 TOUCH, it will automatically activate and instantly reach the

optimum operating temperature, 195c, once the plates are closed together.

. The red LED indicator will stop flashing and the iron will maintain this temperature whilst it is in use. If

THE C9 TOUCH has not been used for 30 seconds it will automatically close down but once it is used again it
will instantly reach the optimum working temperature.

. If you wish to lower the temperature to 165c for fine or delicate hair, quickly touch the plates together three

times and the LED indicator will glow blue.

. If you wish to return to 195c for thicker wavier hair just quickly touch twice and THE C9 TOUCH

will instantly return to the higher heat.

. Never wrap the cord around the iron even if it is cold.
. As with any electrical product do not use near water.
. THE C9 TOUCH is supplied with a standard two pin plug and has a UK three pin adaptor fitted.

If you wish to use THE C9 TOUCH outside the UK simply remove the screw positioned in the centre
of the plug and remove the adaptor from the two pin plug.

Don’t use your styling product near water.
Don’t contaminate any part of your product with any chemical, hair colour or dye.
Don’t use on wet hair.
Always unplug from the mains power supply immediately after use.
Clean your product by gently wiping with a damp lint free cloth, do not use sprays or detergents.
Never immerse your product in water and always switch off and unplug
from the mains power supply before cleaning.

General iron safety

Your iron can get incredibly hot so you really must be careful when using it.
Always closely inspect THE C9 TOUCH Iron for damage before you use it.
If the iron is damaged in any way do not use it. Instead go to our website for help desk contact details.
Do not touch the ceramic plates when the iron is switched on.
Keep hairsprays and styling aids at a safe distance away from your iron.

Voltage

THE C9 TOUCHIron can be operated with a mains voltage ranging from 200-240 Volts ac 50/60Hz, 40W.

Operation Failure

If your styling product fails to work please follow this guide:
Check that your product and the power supply are switched on.
If your product, cable or plug become damaged in any way stop using it immediately and return your product
to our service centre for repair.
Under no circumstances should you or anyone else tamper with the product as this will invalidate your warranty.

Remember

It’s important that you never use your styling product for anything other than styling hair as directed in the quick start
guide. Your product has been specifically designed for this purpose and using the product for any other purpose
could be dangerous.

User Advice

Do not use excessive force when quickly touching the plates together as this my cause damage to the iron.
Please remember to keep your original proof of purchase in a safe place.
This product benefits from a 12 month manufacturers warranty, subject to terms and conditions.
This appliance can be used by persons aged from 16 years and above. If persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge use this product, an adult responsible for their safety must ensure that
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children
without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or it’s service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
