Before use
Clipcomm’s BS-H100 is a Bluetooth analog telephone adapter that provides a wireless connection between a Bluetooth headset and a conventional analog telephone. BS-H100 enables you to have a conversation through your Bluetooth headset with a telephone at home or in the office. The DSP (digital signal processor) feature of BS-H100 provides a superior audio performance via noise reduction and echo cancellation.

[Charging]
Install the product as shown below.
1. Connect the port of your phone with the PHONE port at the back side of BS-H100 using the included telephone cable.
2. Plug the telephone(PSTN) cable into the LINE port at the back side of BS-H100.
3. Connect the included power adapter to the power port at the back side of BS-H100.

[Precautions]
BS-H100 is automatically turned on when it’s plugged in,
and the LED indicator starts blinking slowly after 5 seconds.
Use the included power adapter only. Using the power adapters not approved can cause a breakdown or damage to BS-H100.
A specific telephone cable for a digital telephone such as a key-phone is different from a normal telephone cable, and BS-H100 may not be operated with the phone.
Keep BS-H100 at least 1m away from a wireless LAN or a wireless Internet AP. The Electric interference can cause the quality deterioration.

How to use
[Pairing]
Before using BS-H100 for the first time, you must pair it with your Bluetooth headset following below steps. Pairing is a process to connect two devices with Bluetooth wireless function and recognize each other.
Set Bluetooth headset into pairing standby mode
1. Set the Bluetooth headset into the pairing standby mode following the user manual of your Bluetooth headset.
For detailed instructions on pairing BS-H100 with the Bluetooth headset, please consult your Bluetooth headset user guide.
You must set the Bluetooth headset in the pairing mode first to enable BS-H100 to search the headset automatically after the pairing standby mode.

2. When the power is on, press and hold down button for 3 seconds in order to set BS-H100 to the searching mode.

3. The LED indicator blinks rapidly while BS-H100 is searching for the headset.
4. The LED indicator blinks slowly while BS-H100 is trying to connect to the Bluetooth headset.

5. The LED indicator keeps lighting after BS-H100 and the headset is paired successfully.

How to use
[Connecting]
BS-H100 connects with the Bluetooth headset automati­cally after the pairing procedure.
BS-H100 is automatically reconnected with the headset
without the pairing process when it’s plugged in.
You may connect BS-H100 to the last paired headset at
once by pressing button briefly.
You can reconnect BS-H100 and the headset by pressing
button briefly after you disconnect them.
The maximum range between BS-H100 and a Bluetooth headset is 10m to work properly. If it’s over 10m, the connection between BS-H100 and the Bluetooth headset may be dropped.
For detailed instructions on connecting with BS-H100 on a Bluetooth headset, please consult your Bluetooth headset user guide.
Try the pairing procedure again in case BS-H100 fails to reconnect.

How to use
[Disconnecting]
Press and hold down button for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will flash three times rapidly and the connection between BS-H100 and the headset will be discontinued. The LED indicator will blink slowly while it is disconnected.
In case BS-H100 is connected with a Bluetooth headset unintentionally and you disconnect the headset using BS-H100, it will not be connected with the headset which is disconnected within the last one minute.
You can reconnect BS-H100 and the headset after you disconnect them by letting the Bluetooth headset connect with BS-H100.

How to use
[Making a call]
You can make a phone call by pressing button briefly o pressing the call button on the Bluetooth headset connected. When you hear a dial tone, pick up the handset of the connected telephone and dial a number.
[Ending a call]
To end a call, press button briefly or press the call button on the headset.
[Answering a call]
A Bluetooth headset will ring when there is an incoming call. You can answer the call by pressing the call button on the headset or button on BS-H100 briefly.
BS-H100 does not support a call transfer, call waiting or call reject when you try these functions on the headset.

How to use
[Transferring a call to Bluetooth headset]
To transfer a call from the telephone to the headset
talking on the telephone connected to BS-H100, press button briefly or press the call button on the headset.
To transfer a call from the headset to the telephone connected to BS-H100, pick up the handset of the telephone
and press button on BS-H100 briefly or press the call button on the headset.
Transferring a call to the telephone when the handset is on hook may end the call.
You may talk at the same time by using the handset of the telephone while the other one is talking on the headset.

[Reset]
Press button for 10 seconds. The LED indicator will flash 5 times rapidly and BS-H100 will be initialized to the default set up.
The LED indicator will go through the pairing standby mode and disconnection mode while you are pressing button for 10 seconds. Keep pressing button to initialize BS-H100 until the LED indicator flashes 5 times.
The recent pairing information will be deleted when BS-H100 is initialized.

[Additional information]
The
cover range of wireless communication is within a maximum
of 10m and the conditions vary according to obstacles.
BS-H100 can be connected only to those devices that support a Bluetooth headset profile. This product is not compatible with the standard headset without Bluetooth function.
BS-H100 can be affected by the devices that operate in the ISM band (2.402 GHz ~2.480 GHz) such as wireless LAN, microwave devices, medical appliances, etc. since it uses same band of frequency. Try to keep BS-H100 away from those devices to ensure proper operation.

Please turn off BS-H100 in areas with potentially explosive atmosphere (oil warehouse, explosive warehouse, etc.). In rare occurrences, BS-H100 could generate sparks. This could lead to an explosion or fire which could result in bodily injury. Please follow the warning notices in those areas carefully.
