PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USING THIS SHAVER.
WARNINGS:
This device is not a toy and is not intended for use by or on children. The shaver is intended for household use only. Do not use the shaver if it has a damaged or broken foil, blade or cutting unit, as injury may occur. Do not expose the shaver to direct sunlight, extreme temperatur es or heated surfaces.
BATTERIES: Your shaver requires 2 ‘AAA’ 1.5 volt alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Remove the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the shav er by tw isting the clasp in the direction of the arrows indicated on the battery door ( Fig.1).
• Insert the batteries as shown on the indicator labels visible inside of each battery compartment (Fig. 2).
• Line up the dash (-) lines on both the battery door and the shaver. Push the battery compartment cover back onto the shaver so that it is inserted all of the way and then turn the clasp back to its original position to secure the battery door in place. NOTE: the battery compartment cover will only fit in one direction.
THE SHAVER WILL NOT OPERATE IF THE BATTERIES ARE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED

USING YOUR SHAVER:
The shaver is recommended for use on the legs, underarms, bikini line, back of neck, feet, etc. and is ideal for use at home, when traveling, at the gym, use it anywher e! Before using, check the shaving head for damage. If signs of wear or damage are evident, do not use the shav er as injury may occur. It is not necessary to press hard when shaving y our legs, underar ms, or bikini line. Too much pressure while shaving may cause skin irritation, and the shaver will not function properly. For wet shaving, a thin layer of soap or shaving cream may be applied to the skin before shaving, but it is not recommended. Skin should be clean for dry shaving. You can use your shaver wet or dry but the shaver must never be submerged in water.
CLEANING YOUR SHAVER:
With the shaver turned OFF it can be quickly cleaned by pulling the blade assembly from the unit and rinsing the blades under running wat er. Y ou can blow out hair or debris or a small brush may be used to brush out hair and debris when the shaver is dry. The area around the blades may also be wiped clean with a soft, dry cloth. For the best shaving performance, it is suggested to lightly oil the shav ing heads regularly by spreading a drop of mineral oil over the foil and trimmers. If this does not improv e t he performance of your shaver, the shaving head assembly may need to be replaced.

Your shaver carries a warranty against manufacturing defects (excluding cutting blades) for two years from the date of original purchase. Clio Designs will, at our option and upon submission of a valid proof of purchase within the w arr anty period, repair or replace the shaver free of charge.
