HC 414 HDMI Splitter 1 IN/4 OUT

Professioneller HDMI Splitter zur Wiedergabe der Signale einer
angeschlossenen Eingangsquelle (wie z.B. DVD-Player, Spiele­konsole oder SAT-Receiver), an max. 4 Displays (z.B. LCD/Plasma
TV) gleichzeitig. Bild und Ton werden in gleicher Qualität auf allen
angeschlossenen Fernsehern dargestellt.

Der HC 414 mit integrierter Verstärker- und Equalizer-Funktion ist
die ideale Lösung für folgende Anwendungsbereiche: Home Theater,
Audio/Video Installation, z.B. in Konferenz-/Schulungsräumen,
Messe- oder Verkaufspräsentationen.

Das Gerät ist nur für den Anschluss an HDMI Ein- und Ausgänge
von entsprechenden AV-Geräten zugelassen. Als Stromversor-
gung darf nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil verwendet werden.
Das Netzteil ist nur für den Anschluss an 100-240V/50-60Hz
Wechselstrom zugelassen.
Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben führt zur Beschä
digung dieses Produktes, darüber hinaus ist dies mit Gefahren,
wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer Schlag etc. verbunden.
Die Sicherheitshinweise sind unbedingt zu befolgen. Dieses
Produkt erfüllt die gesetzlichen nationalen und europäischen
Anforderungen.

Sicherheitshinweise

Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung
verursacht werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch. Für Folgeschäden
übernehmen wir keine Haftung.
Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Hand­habung oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht
werden, übernehmen wir keine Haftung. In solchen Fällen erlischt
jeder Garantieanspruch.

• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächti­ ge Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Produktes nicht gestattet.

• Das Steckernetzteil ist in Schutzklasse II aufgebaut und darf nur
an einer Steckdose des öffentlichen Stromversorgungsnetzes
betrieben werden.

• Um das Gerät vollständig vom Netz zu trennen muss das Netzteil
aus der Netzsteckdose gezogen werden.

• Netzteile dürfen nie mit nassen Händen ein- oder ausgesteckt
werden.

• Die Sicherheitshinweise der Hersteller der anzuschließenden
Geräte sind ebenfalls zu beachten. Lesen Sie dazu die entspre­ chenden Betriebsanleitungen sorgfältig durch.

• Nehmen Sie das Produkt nicht in Betrieb, wenn es beschädigt ist.

• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug, es ist nicht für Kinder geeignet.
Kinder können die Gefahren, die im Umgang mit elektrischen
Geräten bestehen, nicht einschätzen.

• Eine Verwendung ist nur in geschlossenen Räumen, also nicht im
Freien erlaubt. Der Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit, z.B. in Feuchträumen
u.ä. ist unbedingt zu vermeiden.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen hohen Temperaturen, Tropf- oder
Spritzwasser, starken Vibrationen, sowie hohen mechanischen
Beanspruchungen aus.

• Stellen Sie keine offenen Brandquellen, wie brennende Kerzen auf
oder direkt neben dem Gerät ab.

• Achten Sie während des Betriebs auf eine ausreichende Belüftung
von Steckernetzteil und Umschalter. Decken Sie die Geräte nicht
durch Zeitschriften, Decken, Vorhänge o.ä. ab.

Anschluss und Bedienung

1. Verbinden Sie mit Hilfe eines HDMI Kabels die HD Quelle
mit dem Eingang des HC 414.

2. Verbinden Sie je einen Bildschirm mit einem Ausgang des HC 414.

3. Standardauflösung einstellen:
Bitte stellen Sie zuerst die Auflösung Ihrer HD Quelle ein und
stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Ausgangsgeräte diese unterstützen.
Wenn Sie beispielsweise eine Ausgangsauflösung von 1080p
wählen und einer der Bildschirme diese Auflösung nicht unter­ stützt, kann kein Bild angezeigt werden.

4. Verbinden Sie das 12 V DC Netzteil mit dem HC 414.

5. Wenn alle Verbindungen hergestellt sind, wird das Ausgangssignal
auf allen Bildschirmen angezeigt.

6. Um eine bessere Leistung zu erzielen, sollten Sie den HC 414
neu starten. Damit stellen Sie auch sicher, dass HDCP unterstützt
wird.

Problembehebung

Kein Bild:

• Überprüfen Sie alle Steckverbindungen.

• Überprüfen Sie die Verbindungsleitungen auf Beschädigungen.

• Schalten Sie den HC 414 mit dem Hauptschalter hinten am Gerät
aus, stecken Sie das Netzteil ab und warten Sie ca. 5 Minuten.
Nehmen Sie dann das Gerät erneut in Betrieb, wie weiter vorne
in dieser Anleitung beschrieben.

Kein Ton:

• Überprüfen Sie alle Steckverbindungen.

• Überprüfen Sie die Verbindungsleitungen auf Beschädigungen.
Sind die Leitungen für Audio- und Videoübertragung geeignet?

• Eventuell muss der Umschalter zurückgesetzt werden.
Schalten Sie den HC 414 mit dem Hauptschalter hinten am Gerät
aus, stecken Sie das Netzteil ab und warten Sie ca. 5 Minuten.
Nehmen Sie dann das Gerät erneut in Betrieb, wie weiter vorne
in dieser Anleitung beschrieben.

• Ist ein Video-Aufnahmegerät an einem der Ausgänge ange­ schlossen? In diesem Fall blockiert HDCP automatisch die Ton­ übertragung.

HC 414 HDMI Splitter 1 IN/4 OUT

With this professional HDMI splitter you can play one connected
HDMI source (f.e. a DVD, game console or satellite receiver), on up to
HDMI displays (LCD/Plasma) at the same time.
The splitter guaranty the same quality for images and sound at all
connected HDMI displays.
The HC 414 with amplifier and equalizer functions offer solutions
for Home Theater, AV installation data center, information distribu­tion, conference room presentation, school and corporate training
environment.

It is only approved for connections to HDMI inputs and outputs
of corresponding AV devices.
As power supply, only use the supplied mains adapter. The power
unit is only permitted for the connection to 100-240V/50-60Hz
alternating current.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage
to this product and involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric
shock, etc.. The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
This product complies with the applicable National and European
specifications.

Safety instructions

In case of damage caused by not complying with these safety instruc­tions the guarantee will be rendered void. We will not assume liability
for any resulting damage. We shall not accept liability for damage to
property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or non­compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty is voided in
these cases.

• Any unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product
is inadmissible for safety and Q.C. reasons (CE).

• The plug-in power supply is designed for safety class II and must
only be used with a socket of the public electric grid.

• In order to disconnect the unit from the power system completely
the power supply must be disconnected from the power socket.

• Power supply must never be plugged in or disconnected with
wet hands.

• The manufacturer’s safety instructions of devices to which the
adapter will be connected will also have to be observed. You
should therefore also carefully read other relevant operating
instructions.

• Do not start using the product when it is damaged.

• This product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children.
Children cannot judge the dangers involved when handling
electrical devices.

• It can only be used in closed rooms, and therefore not outdoors.
Contact with humidity, e.g. in damp locations and similar, must be

avoided at all times.

• Do not expose the device to extremely high temperatures, dripping
or spraying water, strong vibrations, or great mechanical strain.

• Do not put sources of naked flames such as candles on or next
to the device.

• Ensure sufficient ventilation of the power supply and the switch
during operation. Do not cover the units with newspapers, sheets,
curtains or similar.

Connect the HC 414 splitter to your devices

1. Connect the HDMI cable from the HD source to the input port
of HC 414 splitter.

2. Connect the HDMI cables from your displays to the outputs
of the HC 414 splitter.

3. Standard resolution of outputs set up: Please set the output
resolution of the source device first, and make sure the resolution
can be displayed on all connected display devices. For example,
if you set the output resolution of the source device to 1080p,
please make sure all the display devices can display 1080p
resolution. If any connected display device can not support 1080p
resolution, the display device will show no pictures.

4. Plug the 12 V DC power supply into the HC 414 splitter.
When connections are completed, the HDTV signal will be d
istributed to each HDTV

Troubleshooting

No image:

• Check all plug-in connections.

• Check the connecting lines Is any line damaged?

• Turn off the HC 414 by using the main switch on the rear side of
the device, unplug the power supply and wait about 5 minutes.
Then restart the device as previously described in this manual.

No sound:

• Check all plug-in connections.

• Check the connecting lines. Is any line damaged? Are the lines
suitable for audio and video transmission?

• It might be required to reset the switch. Turn off the HC 414 by
using the main switch on the rear side of the device, unplug
the power supply and wait about 5 minutes. Then restart the device
as previously described in this manual.

• Is there a video recording device connected to one of the outputs?
In this case HDCP automatically blocks the sound signal
transmission.

Séparateur HDMI professionnel pour restituer simultanément 1 des
sources d’entrée raccordées (comme le DVD, la console de jeu ou le
récepteur satellite) sur 4 appareils au max. (par ex. télé LCD/plas­ma). L’image et le son sont transmis avec la même qualité sur tous
les téléviseurs raccordés.

Le HC 414 avec une fonction d’amplificateur et d’égaliseur offre la so­lution idéale pour les domaines d’utilisation suivants : home cinéma,
installation audio/vidéo, par ex. dans des salles de conférence/for­mation, présentations sur des salons ou de vente.

Il peut être raccordé uniquement sur les entrées et sorties HDMI
des appareils A/V correspondants. Le bloc d’alimentation fourni
doit uniquement servir d’alimentation électrique. Le bloc d’ali-
mentation peut être raccordé uniquement sur une tension alterna-
tive 100-240 V~/50-60 Hz.
Toute autre utilisation que celle décrite précédemment entraîne
l’endommagement de ce produit, avec en conséquence des
dangers, tels que court-circuit, incendie, décharge électrique, etc.
