The Cla-Val Model 81M Diaphragm Check Valve is designed
for use in the Hydraulic Activation portion of a shipboard Dry
Type Magazine Sprinkler System. The 81M-3 Check Valve is
internally ported diaphragm actuated hydraulic check valve
used in interconnected Open-valve loop and Closed-valve
loop activating piping to prevent reverse flow. Two 81M-3
Check Valves are used on each loop to ensure that the
highest pressure signal for activation is applied to the
Magazine Sprinkler Valve.
