The Cla-Val Model 81M Diaphragm Check Valve is designed
for use in the Hydraulic Activation portion of a shipboard Dry
Type Magazine Sprinkler System. The 3/8” 81M Check Valve
is internally ported diaphragm actuated hydraulic check valve
used in interconnected Open-valve loop and Closed-valve
loop activating piping to prevent reverse flow. Two 81M
Check Valves are used on each loop to ensure that the
highest pressure signal for activation is applied to the
Magazine Sprinkler Valve.
